YOU WILL KEEP ME DEAR LORD

“For I am persuaded beyond doubt, am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor things impending and threatening nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:38-39. God is keeping you for something bigger and even greater than what you will ever be able to imagine. He preserves what is still relevant, useful and fitted for His glory and for His programs.

God will not lift up a man and let him or her fall thereafter, only the devil does that. God will not lead a man on the path of life and then depart thereafter, only the devil does that. God will not bless a person and let the person die in lack and want, only the devil does that. God will not take you on a journey and abandon you half way through, only the devil does that. God will not give you His words on any issue and change His words after you encounter some difficulties, only the devil does that. God will stay back and watch any of His children suffer indefinitely without going all out to rescue and to redeem them to safety, only the devil does that. God will not send you on a mission and stay back without actually going with you, ensuring you are successful and secured, only the devil does that.

He keeps those who truly rely, depend, who are faithful and are diligently following all of His words. The reasons Christians fail is not because God is not leading them or is He absent in their affairs or that there is a lack of applicable and relevant knowledge from Him, or a lack of the direction to take, or a lack of appropriate directives on how to handle the issues, or a lack of purpose in their lives, or a lack of correct dreams and vision, but we fail when we lose sight of the God we are following despite the availability of the very apparatus that had been tested and proved right in leading us the success that God desires for us. The most dangerous thing in the life of a professing Christian is to that your ryes away from your God and away from His words in your every day life. You can lose sight of your best dreams, of your best visions, of your best desires, of your best purpose and yet, still achieve an astronomical success in life, but you can never lose sight of your God and still be the success He had destined for you.

Do not allow any of your situations in life to blind your eyes from seeing your God and knowing that He will forever be true to you and to everyone at all times; to see that He still loves you even in that situation and still standing by you irrespective of what the devil is doing. Never allow anything you will ever gain or lose in life to take your eyes away from the throne of grace and peace. Do not allow your success or your failure, your wealth or your lack, your pains or your joy, answered prayers or several unanswered prayers, a good job or the absence of one, do not allow anything physical or spiritual, human being or Satan to take your eyes off the God who knows you, who saves you, and who gives you the grace to see this new day. Remember He first loved you in your sins before giving you the grace to be saved and He loves you more in your salvation than when you were in sin. His immense love and Holy concern for your life, for your success, and for your well-being in everything increases each new day He gives to you.

“He will not allow your foot to slip or to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, He who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord is your keeper; the Lord is your shade on your right hand. The sun shall not smite you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all evil; He will keep your life. The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore.” Psalm 121:3-8. For prayers Click here
