They have tried and are still trying to bring you down and put you to shame but If God is for and with you, who can ever be successful against you. There are things to be thankful for and most of these are the goodness of God despite all the troubles, the adversities and all the evil works of the devil against you, the next is the true hope we have in the faithfulness of our God in His ability, in His love, and in His care over the years. Paul in Romans eight, gave us some things trying and working to keep us ashamed of ourselves; 1. Various forms of accusations from people we know and people we do not know. 2. Condemnations, 3. Feeling of separate us from Christ and God. 4. Feeling that God no longer loves us because of our past deeds. 5. Unending troubles at home and from every side. 6. Various forms of calamities causing pains, damages,  distresses, and disasters in our lives, 7. Persecutions from friends, from spouse, from children, from parents, from family members, from colleagues, and from evil foes, 8. Hunger for food and pressing desires, 9. Being destitute of basic necessities, 10. Known and unknown feelings of fears of dangers, 11. Threats of death and destruction. 12. Effects and activities of demons on our lives, 13. Uncertain fears for today, tomorrow and our future, 14. The worries about tomorrow considering what we are going through today, 15. The powers from hell seeking to destroy us and destroy whatever we have and whatever we have worked for in life, 16. The powers in the sky above or in the earth below.

These are just few out of many but there are absolutely nothing that will be able to keep you in any form of shame if you are in Christ through salvation and Christ is in you through forgiveness and cleansing by His blood and the indwelling of His Holy Spirit in you. God will give you what He had promised despite the troubles and the adversities, He will not allow shame to be your companion and He will establish you. “O give thanks to the Lord, call on His name, make His deeds known among the peoples. Sing to Him, sing praises to Him, speak of all His wonders. Glory in His holy name, let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice. Seek the Lord and His strength, seek His face continually longing to be in His presence. Remember with gratitude His marvelous deeds which He has done, His miracles and the judgments from His mouth, O seed of Israel His servant, Children of Jacob, His chosen ones, He is the Lord our God, His judgments are in all the earth. Be mindful of His covenant forever, the promise which He commanded and established to a thousand generations, the covenant which He made with Abraham, and His oath, sworn promise to Isaac. He confirmed it as a statute to Jacob, and to Israel as an everlasting covenant, saying to you I will give the land of Canaan, as the portion of your possession and inheritance. When you were few in number, even a very few and strangers in it, when they wandered from nation to nation, and from one kingdom to another people, He allowed no man to oppress or exploit them, and He reproved and punished kings for their sakes, saying, do not touch My anointed ones, and do My prophets no harm. Sing to the Lord all the earth, proclaim the good news of His salvation from day to day. Declare His glory among the nations, His marvelous works among all peoples. For great is the Lord and greatly to be praised, He is also to be feared with awe-filled reverence above all gods. For all the gods of the peoples are lifeless idols, but the Lord made the heavens. Splendor and majesty are found in His presence, strength and joy are found in His place. Ascribe to the Lord O families of the peoples, ascribe to the Lord glory and honor and strength. Ascribe to the Lord the glory and honor due to His name, bring an offering of thanksgiving, and come before Him, worship the Lord in the splendor of holiness. Tremble reverently before Him, all the earth, the world is firmly established, it will not be moved. Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice, and let them say among the nations, the Lord reigns. Let the sea roar, and all the things that fill it, let the field rejoice, and all that is in it.” 1 Chronicles 16:8-32. For prayers, Click here
