"YOUR GAINS WILL OUTNUMBER YOUR PAINS."

Christ Jesus fulfilled the purpose He came into the world for; He fulfilled the purpose He died on the Cross for; He fulfilled the purpose He was buried in a tomb, and He is fulfilling the purpose He was raised from the dead for. As you did not miss experiencing the purpose that Christ came for, as you did not miss the purpose for which He died, as you did not miss the purpose for which He was buried, so will you not miss the purpose of His resurrection. You will not miss having a new experience because of the resurrection; Christ took all our old unpleasant experiences with Him nailing them on the Cross that we may have a new life and pleasant experiences thereafter. The resurrection is a period for new things, new experiences, new dreams, new desires, new visions, and a renewed hope now and in the future. One message of the resurrection is that God had given us a new hope and the grace to have better results and the possibilities to experience new and good things He had desired and destined and designed for each of us. Christ had opened the doors that were closed against us; the grave of afflictions that destroys our hope and efforts to be successful had been defeated and left open forever. Our freedom had been proclaimed loud and clear; we are totally redeemed, we are free, Christ our Lord has Risen, He is our God.

Christ Jesus is alive and doing much more for us than He did when He was alive; He is risen for our good and for our blessings; He is risen for our hopes and for our desires: He is risen for our joy and for our assurance, and He is alive forever. Christ did not remain on the Cross indefinitely and He did not remain in the grace longer than three days. You will not remain in any hardship indefinitely and your talents and blessings will not remain in the grave any longer. It is certain that you have struggled in many ways and in many things; the good news is that your struggles will not remain unfruitful; whatever it may be that stands on your way will be taken away; your sorrows will not continue indefinitely; whoever desires evil for you will see God changing you and changing every circumstances that concerns you; your work of faith, your desire for peace, your determination for breakthrough, and your desires for godliness will bring a reward; your faith will increase and bear glorious fruits that are better than your expectations; your labor will bring the expected fruit despite the wickedness unleashed against you by people with evil intent; your moments of increased favor will meet you while you are still living, while you are still strong, and while you are still able to enjoy the gains that will outnumber your pains.

We know how pain really is when we feel one; when we experience one, and when we live with one, but what we gain through Christ will outnumber the pains that we have experienced, seen, and have lived with all these years. Christ took our pains and nailed them on the Cross; Christ set the captives free; He break yokes of affliction; took sorrows away; established a precedence that will never be forgotten, that will never be abolished, that will forever be respected, that will forever be true, that will never be ineffective, that will never be unholy. A precedence that will always be acceptable to God and the devil irrespective of resistance or denial, a precedence that was instituted in heaven and made possible by Christ on earth. After the pains of Jesus Christ on the Cross, after the agony, after the humiliations, He was lifted up above all things in heaven and on earth; after the pains of Sarah’s barrenness, she laughed better in her old age than she did when she was young, and after the pains of shame that Hanna suffered, after her cries before Eli in prayers, Hannah’s joy was multiplied seven-fold, because God gave her much than one child that she requested. As you trust in the resurrection, your gains and reward will outnumber your pains and sorrows. “Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Philippians 2:9-11.
