SPEAK YOUR HEART OUT TO GOD

Post date: Apr 28, 2015 3:10:44 AM

“Listen in silence before me, you lands beyond the sea. Bring your strongest arguments. Come now and speak. The court is ready for your case. Who has stirred up this king from the east, rightly calling him to God’s service? Who gives this man victory over many nations and permits him to trample their kings underfoot? With his sword, he reduces armies to dust. With his bow, he scatters them like chaff before the wind. He chases them away and goes on safely, though he is walking over unfamiliar ground. Who has done such mighty deeds, summoning each new generation from the beginning of time? It is I, the Lord, the First and the Last. I alone am he.” Isaiah 41:1-4. Speak your heart to your God, open it up; do not keep silent and do not be afraid. He will not deny you and He will not turn you back.

What will you speak today about yourself to your God? The scripture encourages you to speak for yourself, to say something good about yourself, to speak them out loud with confidence and joyfully. Take your case before the chief advocate of all mankind express your feelings, desires, pains, frustrations, angers, disappointments, expectations, and injustices; do not hold back your heart. This is the greatest opportunity to tell Him of what you need, how you feel, and what you desire, He will hear and grant your words. When David was given the opportunity he said, “The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not lack. I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.” Psalm 23:1; 139:14. Speak out your heart today.

Did you know that family members, colleagues, friends and foes alike are openly and privately talking about who they think you are, what they think you are, and where they think you may be right now or later in the day or in life? Some are talking with physical and spiritual knowledge of your person, and others without any knowledge of what they are saying. Some are saying good things, while some are saying bad things, some are speaking out of love and Godly concern and others are speaking out of hatred with the tendency to stop, hinder and keep you back. As you open your heart before God today, He will hear you; present your own case.

Irrespective of what people may say or know about you in the past, now and in the nearest future, whether right or wrong, every word that is not of God will not prosper in your life. You have the opportunity to rise up and accept or condemn it. God will always give you a chance to speak for yourself and that chance is here. This is the opportunity to make right what had been judged wrongly in your life, correct any misinformation and misrepresentation before your God. The words of men can never fully describe who, what and where you are in life; until you confirm it, the thinking and words of men concerning you are just mere rumor, speak to your God today.

Refuse to allow the devil confirm the words of others about you, refuse to be what they say, refuse to give in to the fears and intimidation of falsehood, refuse to stay back and allow them dictate your day, your future and your destiny. Wake up and speak your heart. They were many words going out about Paul concerning his actions until the day he was given the opportunity to speak. That same opportunity is given to you today to speak your heart. “Then Agrippa said to Paul, You are permitted to speak on your own behalf. At that Paul stretched forth his hand and made his defense.” Acts 26:1. Paul spoke with confidence and readiness to correct all inaccurate information that was out there about him.

Christ Jesus gave a blind man a chance, “Saying, what wilt thou that I shall do unto thee? And he said, Lord, that I may receive my sight. And Jesus said unto him, receive thy sight: thy faith hath saved thee.” Luke 18:41-42. Jabaz asked: “Oh, that you would bless me and expand my territory! Please be with me in all that I do, and keep me from all trouble and pain!” And God granted him his request.” 1 Chronicles 4:10. Peter asked to walk on water, Moses asked God to go with them. You have the opportunity to speak for yourself now, stand up and speak. For prayer Click here
