“God is not like people, who lie; He is not a human who changes his mind. Whatever He promises, He does; He speaks, and it is done. I have been instructed to bless, and when God blesses, I cannot call it back. I foresee that Israel's future will bring her no misfortune or trouble. The Lord their God is with them; they proclaim that He is their king. God has brought them out of Egypt; He fights for them like a wild ox. There is no magic charm, no witchcraft, that can be used against the nation of Israel. Now people will say about Israel, look at what God has done. The nation of Israel is like a mighty lion. It doesn't rest until it has torn and devoured until it has drunk the blood of those it has killed.” Numbers 23:19-24

Impossibility is written everywhere around the world, in every profession, mission, relationship, dream, desire, studies, and it is very clear in everyone's mind, but despite the known, written and unwritten impossibilities seen and experienced by men, some people are still very successful and making great breakthroughs. We may be forced to ask this personal question, why am I not as successful as others in the things I do? Self-examination may sometimes offer a clue or result in further self-condemnation, failure and shame, but in all things and in every situation, God has the perfect answer when you look unto Him though He may not tell us.

The children of Israel left Egypt with joy, with high hope, with certainty that they will reach the promised land, but on getting to the bank of the Red Sea, they saw impossibility, their hope died, they saw failure and death in their minds. Their hope and certainty of freedom was turned to fear, more years of slavery, and defeat by the same Egyptians they left some days ago. While in that impossibility before them, Pharaoh saw an opportunity to bring them back into many more years of slavery; Pharaoh had the courage to go after them with all the assurance of victory because of his thoughts and imaginations of the impossibility he saw and knew in their inability to cross the Red Sea. Unknown to both the children of Israel and Pharaoh was the fact God has His plans in place in the presence of that impossibilities and failures before them. God was about to give the Children of Israel a sounding testimony and victory, God was about to humiliate Pharaoh and all his strong army, God was about to divide the Red Sea with His power and might. When you see any form of impossibility before you, know that God is still alive, active, able, and willing to fulfill His plans for your life when you continue in obedience to His words and commands. You should be assured that God is able and He will do it despite your impossibilities; you should be assured that God will not leave you, forsake you or allow you to continue in shame. When the enemies see and know your impossibilities, like Pharaoh, they see and think of your defeat by their afflictions, they see and laugh at your failure by your actions, and they think and believe you have been abandoned and left in despair and destruction, but God is still with you, He is still for you, and because of Jesus Christ whom you love, trust, and believe, He will deliver you.

Unknown to the children of Israel was the fact that despite the impossibilities they saw, God was still active and guiding them to the place He had destined in His word and plans. Remember God did not tell Moses, the leaders, or elders of Israel that they will be stranded at the Red Sea, or they will be helpless at the Red Sea, or they will be taken back into captivity at the Red Sea. He told them to go out of Egypt to the land He had promised Abraham to give to them. Though they look stranded and confused at the Red Sea, they were not taken back to Egypt, they were not humiliated by Pharaoh, they were not at the mercy of their enemies, they saw the best of God’s testimony and His power in the display. You will see the best of God’s testimony and the might of His power in your life even though you look stranded and confused in this affliction and in the wicked activities of the devil. “Don't be afraid, stand your ground, and you will see what the Lord will do to save you today.” Exodus 14:13.
