HIS FUTURE THAT WAS TO BE TAKEN AWAY

I want you to know and to have this understanding that God has not changed His mind in all things concerning you, He has not changed His thoughts concerning His words and promises to you, and He has not changed anything concerning the future destiny He has for you here on earth and in heaven hereafter. God will definitely do what He had said He will do, you must do all that is right and possible according to His written words in the scriptures to overcome the pressures of evil that will eventually result in sinning against God and preventing your future as you desire to be what He said of you. Jesus Christ our Lord did not defeat Satan with a physical fight but He did with the written word which He believed, and stood on it, depended on it and relied on it and also said it aloud to the hearing of Satan. You can and should do the same also from now on.

This is what the Almighty God made Jesus Christ be after overcoming the sinful pressures of the various temptation from Satan. This is the future and the destiny that Satan wanted to stop in His life. “And what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.” Ephesians 1:19-23

“Don’t be selfish, don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others too. You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had. Though he was God, He did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. Instead, He gave up his divine privileges, He took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. When He appeared in human form, He humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross. Therefore God elevated Him to the place of highest honor and gave Him the name above all other names, that at the name of Jesus, every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father.” Philippians 2:3-11

This is the personal declaration of Jesus Christ to His disciples after His resurrection – “Jesus came up and said to them, all authority, all power of absolute rule in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.” Matthew 28:18. His future was brighter, His destiny was real, and He was able to be all that God the Father wanted Hm to be and He did all that the Father wanted Him to do on earth by overcoming the pressures to think, to act and to follow something else.

These were what Satan offered Him in those pressures – “Then the Spirit led Jesus into the desert to be tempted by the devil. Jesus fasted for forty days and nights. After this, He was very hungry. The devil came to Jesus to tempt him saying, if you are the Son of God, tell these rocks to become bread. Jesus answered, it is written in the Scriptures, a person lives not on bread alone but by everything God says, every word that comes out of God’s mouth. Then the devil led Jesus to the holy city Jerusalem and put Him on a high place of the Temple. The devil said, if you are the Son of God, jump down because it is written in the Scriptures, He has put his angels in charge of you. They will catch you in their hands so that you will not hit your foot on a rock. Jesus answered him, it also says in the Scriptures, do not test the Lord your God. Then again the devil took Jesus to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and all their splendor. The devil said, if you will bow down and worship me, I will give you all these things. Jesus said to him, go away from me Satan, it is written in the Scriptures, you must worship the Lord your God and serve only him.” Matthew 4:1-10. Whatever the pressures will ever offer you, the blessings from God are far better. For prayers, Click here
