WHERE ARE YOU LEADING ME TO DEAR LORD? (4)

Everyone irrespective of religion, position, gender, nationality, profession, present position, job and office occupied needs a direction to follow, needs to be lead by someone who knows the way or something that is unique and proven to provide needed and expected success, something that is in every way very truthful and very reliable; everyone needs a guardian in every decision and every direction to be followed, and everyone needs to be guarded as they follow the given instructions and direction. The reason being that everyone needs success and assurance of sustenance in life and in everything they will ever do or engaged in doing, and there is no guarantee in human help and assistance except in the Almighty God through believing, depending, and following of Jesus Christ, relying on His words and on the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ speaking to the Apostles and replying Thomas said; “Do not let your heart be troubled, afraid, cowardly. Believe confidently in God and trust in Him, have faith, hold on to it, rely on it, keep going and believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many dwelling places. If it were not so, I would have told you, because I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back again and I will take you to Myself so that where I am you may be also. And to the place where I am going, you know the way. Thomas said to Him, Lord, we do not know where You are going; so how can we know the way? Jesus said to him, I am the only Way to God and the real Truth and the real Life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.” John 14:1-6

The only one true leader who can and will definitely meet all the requirement of providing such true direction with precision is Christ Jesus our Lord and savior.  Christ Jesus is our confident hope and the only true assurance we need and He will never fail us in any way and in everything we take to Him for direction, for guidance, and for safety. The Apostle wrote of the experience, their hope and the assurance in Jesus Christ. “But we have this precious treasure, the good news about salvation in unworthy earthen vessels of human frailty so that the grandeur and surpassing greatness of the power will be shown to be from God, His sufficiency, and not from ourselves. We are pressured in every way, hedged in, but not crushed; perplexed, unsure of finding a way out, but not driven to despair; hunted down and persecuted, but not deserted to stand alone; struck down, but never destroyed; always carrying around in the body the dying of Jesus, so that the resurrection life of Jesus also may be shown in our body. For we who live are constantly experiencing the threat of being handed over to death for Jesus’ sake, so that the resurrection life of Jesus also may be evidenced in our mortal body which is subject to death. So physical death is actively at work in us, but spiritual life is actively at work in you.” 2 Corinthians 4:7-12

Paul went on to write about not being discouraged or disheartened by the effects of all the bad things we are experiencing in life as we wait and follow God’s leading. He said; “Therefore we do not become discouraged, spiritless, disappointed, or afraid. Though our outer self is progressively wasting away, yet our inner self is being progressively renewed day by day. For our momentary, light distress, this passing trouble is producing for us an eternal weight of glory, a fullness beyond all measure surpassing all comparisons, a transcendent splendor, and an endless blessedness. So we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are unseen; for the things which are visible are temporal, just brief and fleeting, but the things which are invisible are everlasting and imperishable.” 2 Corinthians 4:16-18

God will not lead us to destruction but will lead us to freedom and to safety that only Him can and will be able to provide. Prayer Request Click here
