YOUR SET TIME WILL COME”

In your days and times of pains and prolonged troubles, when your sweet dreams and desires seems farther each passing day, when such is ongoing and seen in almost every side of your life, many things will begin to happen in and around you; discouragement, despair, fear of tomorrow, lots of uncertainties, dwindling trust in God, in His words, in His promises and in yourself, low self-esteem, anger and the increase feelings of taking the anger out on others. You will start blaming yourself and others for nothing, these attitudes open the door for the devil to set in and take over your life and depress you the more. But if you decide to keep yourself in God’s love despite the odds and the whispers of the devil in your heart and thoughts, you will surely live to see, enjoy and experience the set time of God for your life.

There are so many things in the life of a person to be doubtful about and to be thankful for, and I am very confident that this one thing in the life of those who have decided to follow God till the very end, those who have fixed all their lives, their thoughts and their actions on Him alone, their set time will surely come, the time appointed only by God and not by man or the devil, a time specifically designed to make you experience all the promises, feel fulfilled, joyful and happy; a day and a time that the devil cannot hold back and the evil words of men cannot stop your dream, desire and action. Trust God because your set time will definitely come. You cannot be a believer in Jesus Christ in vain; you cannot worship Him without a reward and a blessing.

You cannot, and will not miss the set time of God in your life, a time that you will begin seeing, experiencing and enjoying to the fullest, the amazing promises and blessings of God for your life. Noah enjoyed it after his time of pains and troubles, Abraham and Sarah enjoyed it after their time of delays and confusion, Daniel enjoyed it after an uncomfortable in the lion’s den, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego enjoyed it after a time in the burning fire, Jesus Christ enjoyed it after three days in the grave, the Israelites enjoyed it after forty years of wondering in the wilderness, and there are clear evidence that you will also enjoy despite the present level of your troubles and delays. God will not leave you unfulfilled.

Despite the activities of the devil, he cannot change your set time, he cannot stop that time, and he cannot prevent it from happening in your life. Though the devil can confront you, can force you to change your mind and thoughts, he can make you to act contrary to words and expectation of your God, but he cannot confront your God, he cannot persuade Him to change His promises, and he cannot make Him to act otherwise in any way.

Please refuse to give up on the promises of God for your life, refuse to be discouraged by the length of time you have been waiting and trusting Him, refuse to accept what the devil is saying and doing in your life and family, he will keep trying you from all sides and at all times but your God will not allow him to succeed over you forever. God in His faithfulness and love has a set time for all of His activities and all of His promises to you to be fulfilled.

In Luke 18, Jesus Christ gave a parable of a woman who trusted that in her set time, despite all the troubles, the delays and her lack of money to give as bribe, that she will receive what belonged to her. She did not fold her hands to wait for that time before demanding, she did not hope without action, she did not ask the wrong person, she was at the right place at the right time every day, and she did not ask what did not belong to her. She was persistently confident that despite the delays, the frustrations, the time she spent on this one issue will never be in vain, that her request will surely be granted. She invested her time and energy daily, refusing to give in to the frustration, manipulations, and the working of the system of the time, she met her set time and was fully restored, and so will you in Jesus name.
