WHAT DO YOU WANT GOD TO RESTORE IN YOUR LIFE? (2)

“Hear, O Lord, when I cry aloud; be gracious and compassionate to me and answer me. When You said, Seek My face in prayer, require My presence as your greatest need, my heart said to You, Your face, O Lord, I will seek on the authority of Your word. Do not hide Your face from me, do not turn Your servant away in anger; You have been my help; do not abandon me nor leave me, O God of my salvation. Although my father and my mother have abandoned me, yet the Lord will take me up, adopt me as His child. Teach me Your way, O Lord, and lead me on a level path because of my enemies who lie in wait. Do not give me up to the will of my adversaries, for false witnesses have come against me; they breathe out violence. I would have despaired had I not believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for and confidently expect the Lord; be strong and let your heart take courage; yes, wait for and confidently expect the Lord.” Psalm 27:7-14. While we continuously seek for things to be restored in lives, seek out the things we have lost and sought the things God had promised, I want to assure you that God will not fail you, His words will not fail, His promises will be fulfilled and His plans will definitely come to pass. God is not limited by anything in any way. He is God and He will remain to be our God and the restorer of our hope.

The prodigal son who wasted all he got from his father was restored back to the very house he left, back to the arms of parents, and life was now more valuable and meaningful to him. All the things he had lost were forgotten because he was fully restored and guaranteed more. Do not think that God has failed because of what you did with what He gave you; do not think your sins and wrongdoings are too great God will never forgive you; do not believe the words of rejection by the devil in your heart and in your thoughts; do not believe the counsel of the ungodly and those who do not fear God or understand His ways. if the prodigal son was restored and fully accepted by his parents, so will you be restored and fully accepted by the Almighty God. Christ Jesus had paid the price for your redemption, for your restoration, and for your salvation, nothing is left undone. “Come now, and let us reason together, says the Lord. Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be like wool. If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the best of the land; but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured by the sword. For the mouth of the Lord has spoken. How the faithful city has become a prostitute, idolatrous, despicable, she who was full of justice, right standing with God once lodged in her, but now murderers. Your silver has turned to lead, your wine is diluted with water. Your rulers are rebels and companions of thieves; everyone loves bribes and chases after gifts. They do not defend the fatherless, nor does the widow’s cause come before them, instead they delay or turn a deaf ear. Therefore the Lord God of hosts, the Mighty One of Israel, declares

Ah, I will be freed of My adversaries and avenge Myself on My enemies. And I will turn My hand against you, and will thoroughly purge away your dross as with lye and remove all your impurity. Then I will restore your judges as at the first, and your counselors as at the beginning; afterward you will be called the city of righteousness, the faithful city. Zion will be redeemed with justice and her repentant ones with righteousness.” Isaiah 1:18-27

Your day and moment and time of restoration are no longer prolonged; your prayers and your long desires are being heard and your request is being granted. When Jesus Christ was raised from the grave and resurrected and when the disciples saw him, they were full of joy in their heart and in their ways; they had an endless celebration, their confidence was restored; their faith increased, and they were determined to give their lives for the sake of the gospel. That joy is still available to all His followers until this today. “You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy; In Your right hand, there are pleasures forevermore.
