“OH WHERE IS YOUR CONFIDENCE? (4)”

The list of impossibilities are growing every day and everywhere yet God is still faithful today as He was yesterday with our fathers; what was possible yesterday are becoming impossible today, what was possible for our fathers to do in their times without suffering are becoming difficult for the children to do even with suffering and if they do, they have to go through severe sufferings. The times are changing, things are changing, people are changing but the word of God had not changed, what He intends to do are still the same, His plans had not changed and His desires for you now and in the future had not changed. While the devil is busy changing his strategies to get believers to doubt their faith, doubt their believes, doubt their God, doubt the church, and abandon their confidence in His words and plans for their lives, God wants you to stand firm in Him and He will stand firm with you, He wants you to grow strong in your confidence despite the number of challenges you face each day; He wants you to what rightly belongs to you as a Christian and demand for it, insist on having it and be consistent despite what people may say or do. He wants you to know what rightly belongs to you through the Salvation of your soul, He wants you to know you have been set free spiritually and physically, He wants you to walk out of that bondage and cage that frustrates your life and destroys your destiny; He wants you to overcome sin and sinful thoughts, words and actions; He wants you to know that you have washed clean by the blood of Jesus Christ from the past sins and mistakes and ancestral wickedness, He wants you to know that you have been redeemed from the hands of your enmies, from the wishes of those who do not want you to stand up again after you had fallen, redeemed from the powers that hold people down and keep them back from moving forward; He wants you to know that His Holy Spirit is in you and will lead you, guide you, direct you and keep your heart and mind pure, and above all, He wants you to keep asking and demanding what rightly belongs to you with confidence and never to give up until you have them. Remember, all of God’s promises never fail, but it can be delayed, but it will surely come, be confident in your asking and knocking and seeking.

Look at how Christ Jesus taught His disciple how to be confident with a parable: “Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to teach them that they should always pray and never become discouraged. In a certain town, there was a judge who neither feared God nor respected people. And there was a widow in that same town who kept coming to him and pleading for her rights, saying, help me against my opponent. For a long time the judge refused to act, but at last, he said to himself, even though I don't fear God or respect people, yet because of all the trouble this widow is giving me, I will see to it that she gets her rights. If I don't, she will keep on coming and finally wear me out. And the Lord continued, listen to what that corrupt judge said. Now, will God not judge in favor of his own people who cry to him day and night for help? Will he be slow to help them? I tell you, he will judge in their favor and do it quickly. But will the Son of Man find faith on earth when he comes?” Luke 18:1-8

This woman did not go asking or begging the judge or anyone else for help or for favor; she was asking for what she knew was hers that was forcefully taken; she was asking the right person who had the authority to do it, she was persistent and knew also that the judge she confronted knew she has the right in her demand. This woman had confidence that what she was asking for was hers, she knew it was wrongly taken and she knew it was still possible to be returned to her and she confidently insisted and persisted in her demands. That is what confidence is, what it can do and will do. What was forcefully taken from her was returned, yours will also be returned by God’s intervening power working in and for you. God had promised to keep silent over your case forever. You have been saved, delivered, and given the right to be physically and spiritually restored and your confidence in Jesus Christ can accomplish that. Prayer Request Click here
