IN ALL THESE THINGS, WE ARE

Post date: Dec 17, 2012 6:15:16 AM

There are so many things happening around the world to so many people, some are sweet and some are bitter, some are expected and some are not, some have been there for years and has refused to go and some are just coming up and are proving to be very stubborn. To some, living is a great challenge and a continuous burden and therefore not desired, while to some living is a joy and is desired. Some are looking with hope for the coming days and years, while some are scared of what it will bring, and some are completely confused, frightened, and out of words.

Many have lost all hopes based on the practical evidences of the past days and years, based on their family, marital, business, and educational background, based on their personal or collective efforts to solve or resolve the problems. Many have given in their very best in life and yet their very best has not produced any positive sign of freedom and have not seen or heard about any change. Many have nothing to say about their own personal lives now and in the nearest future, about that of their spouses, children and family members. Many have nothing to show for their several years of education, training, humility, gentleness, faithfulness, patience, and dedication to godliness and excellence. Many also have nothing to show the world as their individual or collective achievements in life. But despite all the truth you know and all the lies from the devil that you have seen and have come to experienced, despite all the efforts you have expended in doing what you think and know is right, despite all the confusions, disappointments, denials and frustrations, in all these, we are more than conqueror through Christ who loves us.

Do not give up yet, do not allow confusion to take the best of your thoughts and actions, your savior who is also your redeemer is strong, alive and very active in your life. I am very confident, that you will be victorious. This is what Paul about himself and to all of us today:

“For I am well assured and indeed know that through your prayers and a bountiful supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ (the Messiah) this will turn out for my preservation (for the spiritual health and welfare of my own soul) and avail toward the saving work of the Gospel. This is in keeping with my own eager desire and persistent expectation and hope, that I shall not disgrace myself nor be put to shame in anything; but that with the utmost freedom of speech and unfailing courage, now as always heretofore, Christ (the Messiah) will be magnified and get glory and praise in this body of mine and be boldly exalted in my person, whether through life or through death. For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain [the gain of the glory of eternity]. If, however, it is to be life in the flesh and I am to live on here, that means fruitful service for me; so I can say nothing as to my personal preference” Philippians 1:19-22

“He who did not withhold or spare [even] His own Son but gave Him up for us all, will He not also with Him freely and graciously give us all things? Who shall bring any charge against God’s elect when it is God Who justifies [who puts us in right relation to Himself? Who shall come forward and accuse or impeach those whom God has chosen? Will God, Who acquits us?] Who is there to condemn us? Will Christ Jesus (the Messiah), Who died, or rather Who was raised from the dead, Who is at the right hand of God actually pleading as He intercedes for us? Who shall ever separate us from Christ’s love? Shall suffering and affliction, tribulation, or distress and calamity, persecution or hunger or destitution or peril or sword? Even as it is written, For Thy sake we are put to death all the day long; we are regarded and counted as sheep for the slaughter. Yet amid all these things we are more than conquerors and gain a surpassing victory through Him Who loved us. For I am persuaded beyond doubt, that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor things impending and threatening nor things to come, nor powers, Nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:32-39 Join in this expectation Click here
