"I WILL DO WHATEVER YOU ASK"

God can do all things and He will do yours. God has given us the privilege to ask Him anything at any time in any place and in every situation; He has given us the power to seek anything from Him and to demand anything from Him irrespective of the situation we may find ourselves, irrespective of our feelings in a matter, irrespective of all our worries and troubles and joy. He had taken all limitations out of our way when asking and He had given us the boldness to stand before Him and ask, to speak to Him, and to demand from Him. He did not say whatever we ask any man He will give to us, but whatever we ask Him that is what He will do. There are things that God will not do unless we ask and there are things that will not be done without our asking from Him and there are things also that God will not do without we asking.

What an assurance we have from God; what confidence and what a word for us today. This assurance is not from man but from God, the one who made all things and can do all things and have done all things. This is from the God who had never failed and will never fail in words or in actions. God’s purpose in your life is real and His assurance is to you is perfect. He will not tell you to ask if He cannot do or will not do it. “Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me? The words I say to you I do not say on My own initiative or authority, but the Father, abiding continually in Me, does His works, His attesting miracles and acts of power. Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me; otherwise believe Me because of the very works themselves which you have witnessed. I assure you and most solemnly say to you, anyone who believes in Me as Savior will also do the things that I do; and he will do even greater things than these in extent and outreach because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in My name as My representative, this I will do, so that the Father may be glorified and celebrated in the Son. If you ask Me anything in My name as My representative, I will do it. If you really love Me, you will keep and obey My commandments.” John 14:10-15

There are several examples to give in the scriptures and outside of scripture. Such is in the life of Abraham. God promised and gave Abraham what he never asks for in life; and Abraham lived to always remind God of what God had promised him and God did exactly as He had said to him and as Abraham had reminded Him. Many things will definitely happen in our lives, through us and by us when God is living, directing and leading our lives when we ask from Him. “This is what the Lord says, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: for your sakes I will send an army against Babylon, forcing the Babylonians to flee in those ships they are so proud of. I am the Lord, your Holy One, Israel’s Creator and King. I am the Lord, who opened a way through the waters, making a dry path through the sea. I called forth the mighty army of Egypt with all its chariots and horses. I drew them beneath the waves, and they drowned, their lives snuffed out like a smoldering candlewick. But forget all that, it is nothing compared to what I am going to do. I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun; do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland. The wild animals in the fields will thank me, the jackals and owls, too, for giving them water in the desert. Yes, I will make rivers in the dry wasteland so my chosen people can be refreshed. I have made Israel for myself, and they will someday honor me before the whole world. But, dear family of Jacob, you refuse to ask for my help. You have grown tired of me, O Israel. You have not brought me sheep or goats for burnt offerings. You have not honored me with sacrifices, though I have not burdened and wearied you with requests for grain offerings and frankincense. You have not brought me fragrant calamus or pleased me with the fat from sacrifices.” Isaiah 43:14-24. I want you to forget about your impossibilities and focus on God’s possibilities when you are asking God for anything. Prayer Request Click here
