TURN THIS DISAPPOINTMENT AROUND OH LORD

Because of its painful and shameful nature, no one is expected to ask for and pray for any form of misfortune or disappointment irrespective of that person’s state of mind. It is amazing to know that, when dealing with self, everyone is highly positive minded, but one must take indwelling dominant positive strength a step further if you will ever have a turnaround in your time and days of disappointments. Remember, disappointment is real but it is never permanent. Precious stones often are not found on the surface of the earth they are hidden by nature only for the diligent to discover. Everyone expects a blessing every day, everywhere and every time but not everyone sees such or receives such always but this is not impossible for God to do. We must realize that great opportunities often disguise themselves as painful disappointments before turning as a surprise accompanying blessings. Despite your number of your disappointments, God will ever remain to be God and He will not look down on, and will never reject you because you were disappointed.

Many people had been more disappointed in their disappointments than the disappointment itself and have refused to get pass those memories thereby holding themselves longer in the captivity of disappointment than expected. If you cannot get pass your disappointing past sooner, you will not be able to fully embrace your future early as God had promised you. What you do when disappointed matters much to the body of Christ, the church, your family and your nation. This is where that positive attitude in you is mostly needed and very useful. Many people have committed suicide after a disappointment and you should not. Many have lost the hope of ever recovering and you should not. Many have cursed themselves and are regretting such actions now, you should not. Some have abandon their spouses, their children, and family and have relocated to places that people will not know them only to experience the same thing again, you should not do this. Many had gone as far as committing dangerous crimes that are hurting and hunting them and their family till date, you should not do this.

You should know and believe that in every disappointment you will ever experience, there is an opportunity waiting to be discovered and explored to your overall benefit. The divine, glorious and memorable encounter between Jesus Christ and Peter began from Peter’s disappointment in his business one painful night. Know it that despite all your disappointments, you will never miss your destiny and your place in the presence of God if you will wait on Him patiently. “And He saw two boats drawn up by the lake, but the fishermen had gone down from them and were washing their nets. And getting into one of the boats, the one that belonged to Simon Peter, He requested him to draw away a little from the shore. Then He sat down and continued to teach the crowd of people from the boat. When He had stopped speaking, He said to Simon Peter, Put out into the deep water, and lower your nets for a haul. And Simon Peter answered, Master, we toiled all night exhaustingly and caught nothing in our nets. But on the ground of Your word, I will lower the nets again. And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish; and as their nets were breaking.” Luke 5:2-6. Peter started with one awful disappointing night that gave him the opportunity of becoming one of the apostles of Christ Jesus

This is the reward of that disappointing night; “Then Jesus answered him, blessed, happy, fortunate, and to be envied are you, Simon Bar-Jonah. For flesh and blood [men] have not revealed this to you, but My Father Who is in heaven. And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades, the powers of the infernal region; shall not overpower it or be strong to its detriment or hold out against it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind, declare to be improper and unlawful on earth must be what is already bound in heaven; and whatever you loose, declare lawful on earth must be what is already loosed in heaven” Matthew 16:17-19.
