OUR LORD, A REFUGE FROM THE STORMS (3)

Post date: Apr 21, 2020 11:21:22 PM

“Be still and know that I am God.” He is always there in times of storm and in times of peace, in times of fear and in times of war. He is dependable and able. He sees all things; knows all things, and is capable of doing all things. There is nothing impossible for Him irrespective of nature, location, and name. As the Almighty God did send Jesus Christ into the world for our sake, and we believed it, He will also do whatever is required to keep you safe, strong, healthy and in good spirit till the day of His blessings and faithfulness are accomplished. “Be still and know that I am God. I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world. The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our stronghold, our refuge, and our high tower.” Psalm 46:10-11. Do not panic, be still in your mind concerning the situation now, the things you see now, the things you hear, and the things you or others are experiencing now. Be still for God had not given you up to be killed or destroyed, He will not give up on you and will not give up on any of His promises to you despite the situation. This situation will definitely change.

When the storm comes, God is always there and He is there with you. When the rain falls and the flood arises, God is always there. He is there with you. When there is no way out and all roads are blocked and streets sealed off, God is always there. He is there with you. When the streets are empty and the neighborhood deserted, God is always there. He is there with you. When there is no one to offer a help or show the way or tell us what is right, God is always there. He is there with you. When our prayers seem too dry and empty, and when what we need is hard to get, God is always there. He is there with you. When we sit empty-minded and nothing else to do than to sit in, God is always there. He is there with you. When the knowledge that informs and should transform are shortcoming, when the best of wisdom is failing, and past years of experience are falling short of what is here today, God is always there. He is there with you. When the doors are close and the days are as dark as the night, God is always there.

When we are surrounded by fear and uncertainty, when hope is lost and there are no new dream, God is always there. He is there with you. When we look at our past or present failures; when we think there is no way for recovery, remember, God is always there to turn things around. He is there with you. When we are condemned by people and even condemn ourselves because of what we know, see, and understand about ourselves and our ways, remember God is always there to give us a new beginning. He is there with you. When we have concluded that there is no way again for a second or third chance and there will never be one, remember God is always there to gives you numerous chances in life. He is there with you. God is always there.

He is not there to watch you die of depressing thoughts and uncontrolled afflictions, He is there to lead you to the fountains of life where you will have an abundance of living water for life. He will give you the right thoughts, the right mind, and the right word. He is our ever-present help in times of need. He is the One you can run to and ask for help any time, any day, anywhere you might be, and for any purpose you might need. He won't just help you in your trouble times – He will help you always, with all things, at all times, in all of your needs irrespective of your location and age. His ways are perfect and you will not miss it when He leads you. Stay positive, always stay hopeful and continue relying on God for help, for He will surely help, He is a refuge in times of storm and He is always there for you.
