God would have visited Abraham and Sarah the moment He gave them the promise, He would have given them the wealth, the riches and the promised child within months of Abraham’s obedience to His words and faith in Him, but God was not late at the time, He decided to visit them, He was not late at the time He decided to confirm and fulfill His words and promises physically in their lives. despite what went on before then, God was not late at the time He spoke to Abraham, and at the time He visited Abraham and Sarah to give them Isaac though they were both advanced in age. Your expectations and numerous experiences may have compel you to say God is late in your case; the delays may have compelled you to say God is weak in answering and delivering you from your situations; your age may be a hindrance to you because of what you know, the timing and the years spent on a single prayer point and issues may have forced you to say, God will not do it again for you, but despite all that you have said and known, your day of visitation, your day of fulfillment, your day of a new testimony is coming and you will live to see it. God is never late, He will not be late to fulfill and confirm and bless your life.

God was not late when He visited and answered Jabez's prayers. He would have healed him in his mother’s womb and corrected all disabilities in him but did not; He would have prevented his parents from having difficulties at his conception and birth, but did not; God would have stopped or prevented his parents from rejecting him because of the pains, the suffering, and the poverty they suffered, but God did not, but at the right time, in the right place, and in the life of Jabez himself, God decided it was time to change his story, it was time to give him a new life, it was time to take his pains away, and it was time to answer his prayers, and God did it for him, He will do it for you also. In his pains and sorrows, in his disabilities and rejection, Jabez found time to pray, found time to call on God concerning his future and destiny, he found the time to show his faith in the Almighty and he was not disappointed. His testimony changes his life and has changed many people since then. Sarah lost hope in ever being a mother, lost trust in God’s promise after doing all she could, but Abraham was still hopeful and trusting, and at the right time, God gave them Isaac. Your Isaac is coming. The parents of Jabez lost hope in him and in God, but Jabez never lost hope in God answering him, and God did not disappoint him.

“I will always thank the Lord; I will never stop praising Him. I will praise him for what he has done; may all who are oppressed listen and be glad. Proclaim with me the Lord’s greatness; let us praise his name together. I prayed to the Lord, and He answered me; He freed me from all my fears. The oppressed look to Him and are glad; they will never be disappointed. The helpless call to Him and He answers; He saves them from all their troubles. His angel guards those who honor the Lord and rescues them from danger. Find out yourself how good the Lord is. Happy are those who find safety with Him. Honor the Lord, all His people; those who obey Him have all they need. Even lions go hungry for lack of food, but those who obey the Lord lack nothing good. Come, my young friends, and listen to me, and I will teach you to honor the Lord. Would you like to enjoy life? Do you want long life and happiness? Then keep from speaking evil and from telling lies. Turn away from evil and do good; strive for peace with all your heart. The Lord watches over the righteous and listens to their cries; but He opposes those who do evil so that when they die, they are soon forgotten. The righteous call to the Lord and He listens; He rescues them from all their troubles. The Lord is near to those who are discouraged; He saves those who have lost all hope. Good people suffer many troubles, but the Lord saves them from them all; the Lord preserves them completely; not one of their bones is broken. Evil will kill the wicked; those who hate the righteous will be punished. The Lord will save His people; those who go to Him for protection will be spared.” Psalm 34:1-22. For prayers, Click here
