"DEAR FATHER, CHANGE THE REASONS FOR MY MOCKERY"

Post date: May 29, 2018 12:43:09 AM

Oh my dear Father in heaven, whatever reason they have for mocking me every day, every time, and wherever I go, turn it around for my good today through your mercy and divine power as it was for Hannah. “Hannah’s rival provoked her bitterly, to irritate and embarrass her because the Lord had left her childless. So it happened year after year, whenever she went up to the house of the Lord, Peninnah provoked her; so she wept and would not eat. Hannah was greatly distressed, and she prayed to the Lord and wept in anguish. She made a vow, saying, O Lord of hosts, if You will indeed look on the affliction of Your maidservant and remember, and not forget Your maidservant, but will give Your maidservant a son, then I will give him to the Lord all the days of his life; a razor shall never touch his head.” 1 Samuel 1:6-7, 10-11.

There is a reason for every mockery, but it will turn around by the divine power of the Almighty God on your life from today. Hannah was mocked for being childless despite being married, she was mocked so she will be provoked by her situation, be bitter with herself and others, irritated and embarrassed for being childless despite her desire. She was made to weep by the continuous humiliating verbal mockery, discourage and be distressed. The mockery was meant to demoralize her physically and spiritually, to destroy her dignity of being a woman and her desire of being a mother, to show her the reason to be shameful and remain shameful the rest of her life, to keep her silent before other mothers and sad, she was mocked for being childless and the mockery was supposed to cage her in despair, in frustration, and in disappointment and to remind her of her state of childlessness always, but Hannah did not confront her mocker with any issue or for insulting her but she took it to the Lord her God and the story of her being childless and the words and expectations of her mockers changed. Yours will change by the power of the Living God who is keeping you alive and spiritually active despite the physical effects of the mockery.

God did not change or relocate Hannah, but changed the reasons she was harassed with mockery, changed the words of men concerning her and considering her past situation, turn her into His instruments of praise and a reviving testimony, gave her much more than what she asked for and much more than what people expected from Her. That is the power of God’s divine grace and power. God is not exposing you to shame as the devil wants and had done but He is using this situation to show the world that God is still God and can and will do the unthinkable and the impossible in the lives of those who will continuously believe, trust, call, and depend on Him.

Then Hannah prayed: my heart rejoices in the Lord. The Lord has made me strong. Now I have an answer for my enemies; I rejoice because you rescued me. No one is holy like the Lord. There is no one besides you; there is no Rock like our God. Stop acting so proud and haughty. Don’t speak with such arrogance. For the Lord is a God who knows what you have done; he will judge your actions. The bow of the mighty is now broken, and those who stumbled are now strong. Those who were well fed are now starving, and those who were starving are now full. The childless woman now has seven children, and the woman with many children wastes away. The Lord gives both death and life; he brings some down to the grave but raises others up. The Lord makes some poor and others rich; he brings some down and lifts others up. He lifts the poor from the dust and the needy from the garbage dump. He sets them among princes, placing them in seats of honor. For all the earth is the Lord’s, and he has set the world in order.  He will protect his faithful ones, but the wicked will disappear in darkness. No one will succeed by strength alone. Those who fight against the Lord will be shattered. He thunders against them from heaven; the Lord judges throughout the earth. He gives power to his king; he increases the strength of his anointed one.” 1 Samuel 1:2-10. For prayers Click here
