FROM SMALL TO VERY GREAT

Remember, the mighty oaks are from the little acorns which grow with time. It is a fact that everyone has big dreams and big desires to fulfill, but definitely not everyone has the needed ability to adequately pursue and invest positively in their dreams and desires. Consistent effort in your little ability is very necessary for the dreams and the desires to become real and benefiting. The reason for failure are often the feeling of inadequacy, I cannot, I need someone to help me, I don’t have enough, I am always disappointed any time I make an attempt and so on. You need to encourage yourself and look to God rather than man.

Never look down on yourself on the days of your afflictions, your days of pains and struggling to get up and remain standing; never look down on your days of small beginning, your days of small blessings, small increases, small favors and small pay checks. Whatever begins small and is well manage becomes big and great with time. Put your thoughts, faith, vision, and dreams in your becoming great from the small things you are doing right now. Begin to invest in your great dreams one step at a time and maintain the good work with faith and trust in your God.

You should never be ashamed because you are not big right now or because you are yet to accomplished your dreams and desires. Though you may be small right now, greatness dwells inside of you. You have a divine commission from God to grow and become very great. That is Gods promise to every of His children. When you ignore your small beginning you deprive yourself of the true and excellent road to greatness. You are not small today because God wants you small; it is just because that is what gives rise to great things when you apply the appropriate divine rules in your life and in what you are doing.

Be very serious in your daily desires, men may be mocking you, calling you names and ignoring your presence and relevance, but despite what they may say and do, never stop making those little progress each day. They are necessary if you want to reach your goals in life. It takes one little courageous and consistent step each time to run a thousand miles and achieve your dreams. God is definitely not laughing at you and your progress.

Thank God that even in the presence of human obstacles standing to hinder Zerubbabel, he was able to see and to maintain his vision of the golden lampstand with its vessels of oil. What do you see of yourself now? “And said to me, What do you see? I said, I see, and behold, a lampstand all of gold, with its bowl for oil on the top of it and its seven lamps on it, and there are seven pipes to each of the seven lamps which are upon the top of it. And there are two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl and the other upon the left side of it feeding it continuously with oil. So I asked the angel who talked with me, What are these, my lord? Then the angel who talked with me answered me, Do you not know what these are? And I said, No, my lord. Then he said to me, This addition of the bowl to the candlestick, causing it to yield a ceaseless supply of oil from the olive trees is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit of Whom the oil is a symbol, says the Lord of hosts. For who are you, O great mountain of human obstacles? Before Zerubbabel who with Joshua had led the return of the exiles from Babylon and was undertaking the rebuilding of the temple, before him you shall become a plain a mere molehill. And he shall bring forth the finishing gable stone of the new temple with loud shouting of the people, crying, Grace, grace to it. Moreover, the word of the Lord came to me, saying, The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundations of this house; his hands shall also finish it. Then you shall know recognize and understand that the Lord of hosts has sent me His messenger to you. Who with reason despises the day of small things? For these seven shall rejoice when they see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel. These seven are the eyes of the Lord which run to and fro throughout the whole earth.” Zechariah 4:1-10.
