GOD WILL ANSWER YOU

“I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.” Psalms 27: 13-14. God is not willing to disappoint anyone; there are great profits in praying, waiting and expecting God’s favored blessing thereafter. Prayer is a seed that is planted in the garden of the Lord; it never dies even though it may tarry for a while. Why pray to God if you cannot wait for the answers. Why wait without having a conviction that you have prayed and that He has heard you. For prayer to be effective, we must not assume anything, but pray about everything, have the conviction that He heard our prayers, and that He is able to grant us our expectations far beyond our prayers.

Prayer is far beyond the expression of our pains and needs to God. It is developing a rewarding life-style relationship with our heavenly Father for those who trust God for exploits in their lives and for exceptional blessings. Prayer is someone humbling his or her self before God, that He may likewise exalt them before men. God is not bound to bless us according to our prayers, but in His mercy and faithfulness, I have seen and experience Him bless several people far beyond their prayers and expectations in life. Consistent prayers enhance humility, and bring great result to such individuals. We see that in the life of Moses Genesis 12:3

In answer to prayers, God open the doors for unmerited and unexpected favor, give profound visions, dreams and power, secures victory in the spiritual and physical battles, weakens the hands, plans and frustrations caused by our avowed enemies, brings promotion and give back that which was lost, stolen or destroyed. What God did to and with Moses, He can do it again in our time. He restored Moses with greater respect than he had before, took away his shame and made him to stand before Pharaoh without fear of what Pharaoh will do thereafter.

Those who are prayerful should also develop the habit of waiting for the answer to come, because God answers prayers. Spiritual things are made accessible and very effective in us through diligent, effective prayers to the God who made and holds all things in His power. Great things are achieve when we wait on the Lord. Waiting requires a continuous faithfulness, tolerance patience, humility, and fearlessness in continuing in prayers despite delays.

“So Peter was kept in prison, but fervent prayer for him was persistently made to God by the church (assembly). The very night before Herod was about to bring him forth, Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, fastened with two chains, and sentries before the door were guarding the prison. And suddenly an angel of the Lord appeared [standing beside him], and a light shone in the place where he was. And the angel gently smote Peter on the side and awakened him, saying, Get up quickly! And the chains fell off his hands. And the angel said to him, Tighten your belt and bind on your sandals. And he did so. And he said to him, Wrap your outer garment around you and follow me. And [Peter] went out [along] following him, and he was not conscious that what was apparently being done by the angel was real, but thought he was seeing a vision. When they had passed through the first guard and the second, they came to the Iron Gate which leads into the city. Of its own accord [the gate] swung open, and they went out and passed on through one street; and at once the angel left him. Then Peter came to himself and said, Now I really know and am sure that the Lord has sent His angel and delivered me from the hand of Herod and from all that the Jewish people were expecting [to do to me]. When he, at a glance, became aware of this [comprehending all the elements of the case], he went to the house of Mary the mother of John, whose surname was Mark, where a large number were assembled together and were praying.” Acts 12:5-12.
