HELP LORD, I AM ON A TIGHT ROPE

You are not alone on that tight rope and will never remain there indefinitely irrespective of the number of people with you, your location, your profession, your gender and color. God did not make you for that tight rope situation and did not make the tight rope for you. Even when the devil wants you to remain there, God wants you out, the people of God wants you out, the church of God want you out, the angels of God wants you out and the Holy Spirit of God wants you out. It is certain that those who want you out are more than those who want you to remain in it, and the God we serve together with His people will definitely succeed in securing your freedom from the things that took you there and had been keeping you there. The Almighty God is changing your physical and spiritual guard for good forever.

Tight rope differs from person to person and from location to location but they all have the same effect on people irrespective of their names and wealth; they all seek to destroy precious lives; cogent dreams; purposeful visions; life expectations; shatter faith; misdirect children and family; destroy hopes and marriages; and keep one wondering how did I get here in the first place? There are many good people in that same situation today; many had been there before you and many have sweet words to pass on as the Lord delivered them and brought them to a higher platform in life far better than what they had before. Yours will not end in shame as desired by the devil and people of ill will; it will not end on a sad note; it will not become an evil reference point in your home, marriage, family, church, business and neighborhood.

Many people have their tight rope to be lack of finances to meet necessary personal and family needs that they are committed to despite working hard every day to meet those needs, they wake each morning to see the needs going far beyond their reach; to others it is a long delay marriage while age is catching up on them faster than expected; to others it is childless marriage despite all efforts using available technologies to assist them; to some it is imprisonment for a minor offense they thought will just go away or they ones they never committed; to some it is a little mistake that is costing them so much and even taking the little they had before; to others it is in a relationship that is not working as expected and had defile all available palliatives; to others it is a little personal or family debt or loan that has grown so big and out of proportion over the years; also to others, it is an immediate or distant family crises, problems with parents, siblings, spouse, relative and colleague; to others it is addiction to illicit drugs from peers or friends or prescribed medications due to illness; to other it is an unholy union, low pay jobs, commitments that they later found to be evil, long term agreements; and to others it is sin. But irrespective of the tight rope you have found yourself, God can and will take you out. Remember through disobedience, Jonah found himself in a fish stomach and through prayer, God brought him out.

“Then Jonah prayed to the Lord his God from the stomach of the fish, and said I called out of my trouble and distress to the Lord, and He answered me; out of the belly of Sheol I cried for help, and You heard my voice. For You cast me into the deep, into the heart of the seas, and the currents surrounded and engulfed me; all Your breakers and billowing waves passed over me. Then I said, I have been cast out of Your sight. Nevertheless I will look again toward Your holy temple. The waters surrounded me, to the point of death. The great deep engulfed me; seaweed was wrapped around my head. I descended to the roots of the mountains. The earth with its bars closed behind me forever, yet You have brought up my life from the pit, O Lord my God. When my soul was fainting within me, I remembered the Lord, and my prayer came to You, into Your holy temple. Those who regard and follow worthless idols turn away from their mercy and lovingkindness. But, I will sacrifice to You with the voice of thanksgiving; I shall pay that which I have vowed. Salvation is from the Lord. So the Lord commanded the fish, and it vomited Jonah up onto the dry land.” Jonah 2:1-10. For prayers, Click here
