WHEN THE LORD REMEMBERS YOU (09)

Post date: Jul 12, 2019 3:49:58 AM

God is keeping you for a day of His remembrance, a day of His reward, a day for His purpose, a day of His praise, and a day for His glory on earth which will surely come to pass despite all the delays in your prayers and desires, despite all the frustrations in your labor and relationship, despite all the health issues, despite all the shame coming from people and previous mistakes, despite the disappointments from everywhere and in everything. God is preserving you because He has plans for your life; because He has a plan and a desire to bless you, and because He has a purpose for your life that He will not turn away from and Satan or his agents cannot and will not stop or destroy. Though God never forgets any of His children, but many situations in our lives make us think and suggest and feel and hear from others that God had forgotten us. When God remembers, it is for the purpose of fulfilling His plans and His desires, it means the time of His glory is about to begin; it means nothing will stop you again, it means His reward will begin and will be seen, it means His deliverance is beginning to take place, and it means the days of your frustration, shame and weakness are ending soon and the days of your restoration, joy, breakthrough and celebration are here to stay. There is a divine, a spiritual and a physical purpose and reason for God to remember you. He will not remember you and leave you to continue the way you were before, doing the same failing things as before, stay in the same place of torture and hardship as before and remain in the same situation, and have the same experience as before. When He remembers you, men must also remember you and things will surely change.

When God remembered Mordicia, He stirred up the king to call for the books of records; He also directed his eyes and attention to good things in the book done to him; He directed his words and hearts towards a reward, and He made him ask the question openly. “That same night the king could not sleep. So he gave an order for the daily court record, book of history, remembrances to be brought in and read to him. It was found recorded that Mordecai had warned the king about Bigthana and Teresh, two of the king’s officers who guarded the doorway and who had planned to kill, assassinate the king. The king asked, what honor and reward, recognition, distinction have been given to Mordecai for this? The king’s personal servants answered nothing has been done for Mordecai. The king said, who is in the courtyard? Now Haman had just entered the outer court of the king’s palace. He had come to ask the king about hanging Mordecai on the platform he had prepared. The king’s personal servants said Haman is standing in the courtyard. The king said, bring him in. So Haman came in and the king asked him, what should be done for a man whom the king wants very much to honor? And Haman thought to himself, whom would the king want to honor more than me? So he answered the king, do this for the man you want very much to honor. Have them bring a royal robe that the king himself has worn. And also bring a horse with a royal crown, emblem, insignia on its head, a horse that the king himself has ridden. Let the robe and the horse be given to one of the king’s most important men. Let them or him put the robe on the man the king wants to honor, and let them lead him on the horse through the city streets. Let them announce, this is what is done for the man whom the king wants to honor. The king commanded Haman, go quickly. Take the robe and the horse just as you have said, and do all this for Mordecai the Jew who sits at the king’s gate. Do not leave out, neglect, or let fall anything you have suggested and recommended.” Esther 6:1-10

This did not happen because Mordicai or someone lobbied for him to be rewarded for a good deed long forgotten. It happened because God remembered wanted Mordicai to be rescued from the hands of Hamman, delivered from death, honored for His glory, and for the purpose He wanted to use him for in the land. Your deeds may be forgotten by men, but never by God and He will remember all of them at the appropriate time, day and place. Prayer Request Click here
