I HEARD HIM SAY TO ME – I WILL REMEMBER YOU--

“Saul’s son Jonathan had a son named Mephibosheth who was crippled as a child. He was five years old when the report came from Jezreel that Saul and Jonathan had been killed in battle. When the child’s nurse heard the news, she picked him up and fled. But as she hurried away, she dropped him, and he became crippled. But God remembered Noah and all the wild animals and livestock with him in the boat. He sent a wind to blow across the earth, and the floodwaters began to recede. The underground waters stopped flowing, and the torrential rains from the sky were stopped. So the floodwaters gradually receded from the earth. After 150 days, exactly five months from the time the flood began, the boat came to rest on the mountains of Ararat. Two and a half months later, as the waters continued to go down, other mountain peaks became visible.” 2 Samuel 4:4; Genesis 8:1-5

When King David remembered Mephibosheth, it was not to retaliate for the evil King Saul did to him but to show him God’s own kindness because of his covenant with Jonathan his father. God will remember you, not to punish you for the past evil or sins, but to show you divine kindness and reward you because of His covenant and plans for the future He has for you through Jesus Christ our Lord. Being crippled did not stop God from making David remember, to seek, and to show Mephiboseth kindness, his disability did not stop him from standing before David. It is certain also that nothing will stop the Almighty God from remembering you and sending His message of remembrance and kindness to someone for your sake.

The forty days and nights of rain, the flooding and destruction of human beings and all things on the earth did not stop God from remembering and showing kindness to Noah and his family. God gave Noah rest, took out from the ark, and gave him the land. Noah saw the land again, he went out and walked again, Noah rejoiced in what he saw and God blessed him with His words and made another promise not to destroy human being again and also blessed the land. God will enable you to see the mountain top again in your profession, in your family, in your business and in your work. He will take you there and He will establish you there. Mephiboseth was crippled but divine kindness changed his life for the best despite that known disability; he did not pray for it, he did not ask anyone for it, but God gave it to him, restoring and granting the favor that was due to his father Jonathan to Him.

God is calling you to walk and to run and not to faint, that will come to pass. He is calling you to rise with strength and faith in His words and not to give up. He is calling you to leave behind the past and every weight of yesterday’s disappointments, failures, shame, and anger. He is calling you to walk in a new mind not the old mind; walk with renewed strength today than before; He is calling you to walk in newness and in peace with Him. Let not your heart and mind fear what will rise up or the questions that men will ask you, in His power and might, He will answer and speak for you. As you walk in obedience, He will work out your ways, He will lead you to the fullness of His plans. He is calling you to walk. Walk with Him and you will not faint, stay with Him and you will not burn out. This is the month of your rising, the month of making progress and sustaining the progress, this is the month of your kindness and you will have it.

Because He has called you to receive divine kindness, the strings of evil and afflictions that are holding back from seeing God’s glory will be broken, it will be taken away from you; the people that say you will not walk out of their corner of afflictions and evil will be removed, they will and they have been taken away; their presence will not be felt by you again. The goodness of the divine kindness of God upon your life will transform you and transform everything concerning you as the kindness of David transforms Mephiboseth for life and also restored everything in his wildest imagination thought he will never have again.
