WHEN PRESSURE MOUNTS, WHAT TO DO (01)

Satan comes against us in various ways using means different from each other, using individuals and situations around us all with the desire to take us down and out from God’s grace and from God’s presence and deny us the blessings of our salvation in accepting, following, trusting and depending on Christ Jesus as our Lord and Savior and the cleansing power of His blood. When the pressure of temptation to sin or go against the word of God mounts strong on you, know that Satan is after you for the reason that God is about to release His blessings and promises to you. Know also that even in that same moment of pressure and always, God is there also to keep you and deliver you from that pressure and the sin that is behind the temptation desiring to destroy you and make you a failure, sad, weak, and uncomfortable.

It is certain that we all go through various trials and temptation every day; we all have different experiences and stories and issues to tell and to deal with, we all have things we so much desire, things we always and often pray to happen in our lives, things we work for and struggle with all day, all month and all year and we all things we expect to have and see our lives, work, marriage, job, spouse, children, family, and even friends and colleagues, but in many of these things, we are experiencing untold delays in almost all of them and the pressure is mounting on us internally and externally to meet and to have those needs. I want to assure you that God knows you need those things, He knows you are being pressured within yourself, pressured by those around you, pressured by family members, pressured by parents, pressured by friends and pressured by your colleagues. God knows you need those things and He is able to make a way for you to get those things and besides, He had promised to provide those things you are being pressured with. I know He will make them available for you according to His words and promises, and the total salvation of your soul is just the beginning for you to have what He had promised.

When the pressure of temptation mounts, you must not fall into sin or fall from God’s grace, that is what the Satan desires in that pressure against you but God will keep you. When desires to repay evil for evil mounts, you must not fail in compromising the word of God to satisfy self-interest or please anyone else, that is what Satan wants. When the pressure of pleasure and all their rewards to commit adultery, to commit fornication or any sexual sin increases despite your vow and your being single; when the  pressure for immoral desires come on you, when the pressure to cheat and lie and its rewards come after you, when the pressure to defraud others, to mock, insult, deny others what God had asked you to do for them comes, you must not fall and you must not fail God. God’s reward is always beyond the reward you will receive from those pressure. Remember, besides God fulfilling His promises in your life, He will also, reward your resistance to those pressure and temptations and sins.

“Now, all of this is an example for us, to warn us not to desire evil things, as they did, nor to

worship idols, as some of them did. As the scripture says, the people sat down to a feast which turned into an orgy of drinking and sex. We must not be guilty of sexual immorality, as some of them were and in one day twenty-three thousand of them fell dead. We must not put the Lord to the test, as some of them did and they were killed by snakes. We must not complain, as some of them did and they were destroyed by the Angel of Death. All these things happened to them as examples for others, and they were written down as a warning for us. For we live at a time when the end is about to come. If you think you are standing firm you had better be careful that you do not fall. Every test that you have experienced is the kind that normally comes to people. But God keeps his promise, and he will not allow you to be tested beyond your power to remain firm; at the time you are put to the test, he will give you the strength to endure it, and so provide you with a way out.” 1 Corinthians 10:6-13 For prayers, Click here
