PRESENT YOUR CASE, SPEAK IT OUT

“Produce your cause, saith the Lord, bring forth your strong reasons, saith the King of Jacob. Let them bring them forth, and shew us what shall happen: let them shew the former things, what they be, that we may consider them, and know the latter end of them; or declare us things for to come. Shew the things that are to come hereafter, that we may know that ye are gods: yea, do good, or do evil, that we may be dismayed, and behold it together” Isaiah 41:21-23.

What will you speak today about yourself? The scripture encourages you to speak for yourself, Say something good about yourself, speak them out loud, encourage yourself joyfully. Take on your case before the chief advocate of all mankind. Express your true feelings, desires, pains, frustrations, angers, disappointments, expectations, and injustices; do not hold back anything. This is the greatest opportunity to tell of what you need, how you feel and what you desire. God will hear and grant your words. When David was given the opportunity he said, “The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not lack. I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.” Psalm 23:1; Psalm 139:14. Speak out for yourself.

Did you know that family members, colleagues, friends and foes alike are openly and privately talking about who they think you are, what they think you are doing and going to do, and where they think you may be right now or later in the day or in life? Some are talking with absolute physical and spiritual knowledge of your person and others without any knowledge of what they are saying. Some are saying something good while some are saying something bad, some are speaking out of love and godly concern and others are speaking out of hatred with the tendency to stop, hinder and keep you back forever. God will hear you, present your own case.

Irrespective of what they may say and know about you in the past, now and in the nearest future, whether it is right or wrong, every word that is not of God will not prosper in your life. You have the opportunity to rise up and accept or condemn it. God will always give you a chance to speak for yourself and that chance is here now. This is the opportunity to make right what had been misunderstood in your life, correct any misinformation and misrepresentation. The words of men will never fully describe who you are, what you are, and where you are; not until you confirm it, the thinking and words of men concerning you are just mere rumor.

Refuse to allow the devil confirm the words of others about you, refuse to be what they say, refuse to give in to the fears and intimidation of falsehood, refuse to stay back and allow them dictate your day, your future and your destiny. Wake up and speak for yourself. They were many words going out about Paul and his action until the day he was given the opportunity to speak out. That same opportunity is given to you today. “Then Agrippa said to Paul, You are permitted to speak on your own behalf. At that Paul stretched forth his hand and made his defense” Acts 26:1. Paul was very glad to be given such an opportunity that he stretched forth his hands with confidence and readiness to correct all inaccurate information that was out there about him.

Christ Jesus gave a blind man a chance, “Saying, what wilt thou that I shall do unto thee? And he said, Lord, that I may receive my sight. And Jesus said unto him, Receive thy sight: thy faith hath saved thee” Luke 18:41-42. Given the opportunity, what will you say for yourself? Jabaz asked for a change, “And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me. And God granted him that which he requested” 1 Chronicles 4:10. Peter asked to walk on water, “And Peter answered Him, Lord, if it is you, command me to come to You on the water” Matthew 14:28. Moses asked God to go with them. “If Your Presence does not go with me, do not carry us up from here.” Exodus 33:15. You have the opportunity to speak for yourself now, stand up and speak.
