BECAUSE GOD IS WILLING, YOU WILL

God is not angry when we ask questions; He is not offended when we query ourselves, our hearts and our situations; He is not sad when we cry because we need help, and He will not stand by or fold His arms and watch us destroyed by our enemies using any of the daily afflictions we experience. Though Zachariah asked how he can be sure the words of promise he heard that faithful day will happen, the angel did not turn away from him for asking, did not accuse him of doubting the words, or questioning it; the angel clearly told him, your tongue will only be opened to speak after this child is born. As long as you will continue in the Lord with all faithfully and with obedience, God will perform His words in your life despite delays and the thoughts of men on that issue. As long as you refuse to turn your life, your steps and your heart away from following God and being submissive to Him in truth, you will see His blessed promises fulfilled in your life. As long as your God is the Almighty God, the maker of heaven and earth and everything in them, He is willing to do as He had said and Satan cannot stop Him. The only thing God hates is your turning away from Him because of your situation and giving your heart to follow your fleshly desires instead of His words. Zachariah and Elizabeth never gave up but they continue holding on to Him till they saw the promise fulfilled and testify of the goodness of the Lord.

Because God was still willing despite all the years of delays, all the frustrations, disappointments and the shame, Elizabeth conceived in her old age, gave birth peacefully to living prophetic child and testified to God’s glory; because God was still willing, Zachariah the old man saw his wife pregnant, saw the child delivered and his tongue was loosed to testify of the goodness, the mercy and the ever love of the Almighty God to him. Because God is still willing, your see the words of God being fulfilled in your life and you will testify to the goodness of the Lord. Because God is still willing, you will experience a miraculous deliverance from the things and the people that had held you back all these years; because God is still willing, your prophetic job promotion will come despite all the delays and the frustrations you have received from that same organization. Because God is still willing, you will have the success you have been crying for in that venture be it examination or interview or business;

Because God did not withhold the promise He made to Zachariah and Elizabeth concerning a child any further because of His willingness at that moment, yours will no longer be withheld or prolonged; your marriage date and time will no longer be delayed or prolonged; your healing and that of your family member will no longer delayed or prolonged; your conception will no longer be problematic or denied; your prayers will be answered that your joy may be full; because God is willing, your commitment to godliness and faithfulness to His word will be rewarded. Because God is willing, you will see the changes and the blessings and will testify.

“Now the time had come for Elizabeth to give birth, and she gave birth to a son. Her neighbors and relatives heard that the Lord had shown His great mercy toward her, and they were rejoicing with her. It happened that on the eighth day they came to circumcise the child as required by the Law, and they intended to name him Zacharias, after his father; but his mother answered, no indeed; instead he will be called John. And they said to her, none of your relatives is called by that name. Then they made signs to his father, as to what he wanted him called. And he asked for a writing tablet and wrote as follows, his name is John. And they were all astonished. At once Zacharias’ mouth was opened and his tongue freed, and he began speaking, praising and blessing and thanking God. Then fear came on all their neighbors; and all these things were discussed throughout the hill country of Judea. All who heard these things kept them in mind, saying, what then will this little boy turn out to be? For the hand of the Lord was certainly with him to bring about his birth.” Luke 1:57-66.
