AT THY WORD LORD, I WILL

Acting on those words can change all things in your life. In every condition and in ever location, despite feelings and despite what you see right now in your home, property, finance, office, business, spouse and children, God has not forsaken you, the Lord Almighty is with you. He hears your inner thoughts and sees your outward cry, He knows the sorrow you have and the joy you are expecting. He knows the pressure that is on you and He is said: ‘I am with you, you are never alone’. He is always there with you, to show you the way and to guide you through the path of life, to comfort you and to give you peace even in that situation. You might feel down and discouraged, but He is going to lift you up soon, you might be feeling frustrated after several days and years of waiting, praying, testing, disappointment and near successes, but He is saying, despite all that, there is another opportunity right down the corner that you will never miss. All He need is a more little persistence and obedience from you and you will get it right.

The knowledge of the presence of God with you today and always will surely make a difference in every situation, in every location you find yourself, in every business you are doing, in every prayer that you will ever pray, and in every family you belong to. His presence does not only give assurance, hope and comfort for the future, it changes life and changes the scene now to your advantage. It gives confidence, dispels the treats of locking uncertainty, replaced fears with boldness, and gives victory in every confrontation. It opens the eyes to see beyond the physical into the spiritual, and it rejoices the heart by the result it produces. Liberty reigns supreme where God dwells, and liberation is bound to take place instead of fear, timidity and bondage.

Despite all night long attempt at perfecting success, time spent in preparation, energy and resources invested in the expectation, Simon Peter had a very disappointing and unexpected experience the following morning; he came out empty and shameful. Afraid to face the consequences of his failure at home, he wait a little longer at the point of failure, and behold Christ came right there: “And He saw two boats drawn up by the lake, but the fishermen had gone down from them and were washing their nets. And getting into one of the boats, [the one] that belonged to Simon Peter, He requested him to draw away a little from the shore. Then He sat down and continued to teach the crowd of people from the boat. When He had stopped speaking, He said to Simon Peter, Put out into the deep water, and lower your nets for a haul. And Simon Peter answered, Master, we toiled all night exhaustingly and caught nothing in our nets. But on the ground of Your word, I will lower the nets again. And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish; and as their nets were at the point of breaking, they signaled to their partners in the other boat to come and take hold with them. And they came and filled both the boats, so that they began to sink. But when Simon Peter saw this, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying; depart from me, for I am a sinful man, O Lord. For he was gripped with bewildering amazement, and all who were with him, at the haul of fish which they had made.” Luke 5:2-9

There are many things that make a person sad, uncoordinated, unloved, miserable, confused and rejected in life, but there is nothing that will make God to forsake His own even in such situation. Irrespective of the situation and the news in town about you and your condition, Do not allow the disappointments, failures, misfortune, misrepresentation, half-truth from people and the guilt of yesterday to define your day and to predict your expected result today. Your God is bigger than your yesterday’s problems, He asked Peter to put aside last night failure and embrace today’s reality through obedience, and when Peter did, things changed, His boldness, joy and confidence were fully restored. That same God who meets Peter on that faithful day will meet you also. All He needs is obedience to His words to tune things around for you. He knows your needs and is able to make all provisions for you to have them. He is more than able. For prayers Click here
