There are several things that cause setbacks in a person’s life and you did not come to Christ to retain those things but to have victory over them; to completely walk away from them into a new life and live the new life that God had given and had promised with all joy and happiness. Christ Jesus came to make you a brand new person from the inside to the outside; He did not only come to clean your inside and leave the inside littered with all forms of dirt and your life messed up with all forms of fear, sadness, and uncertainty. He came with the power to make totally clean, to make completely whole, to make you sufficiently able, and to make all things possible to those who will dare to believe and follow Him with all sincerity, with all obedience and all faithfulness and glory be to our God you are one of those who is doing just that and continuing in them even today. God will not allow you to remain in His presence without having the victory; He will not allow you to go empty from His presence; He will not allow you to remain the way you came to Him; He will not you to continue in fruitless ways as it was before your salvation. Remember, in His presence, the games of living and of life changes for good and those who believe and follow Him are favored by Him and rewarded with fruitfulness.

Fruitfulness is one of the children’s bread on the table prepared by God for them and you deserve this bread because through salvation, through grace in Jesus Christ, through your acceptance and believe in His words and through your continuous fellowship you have with Him every day, you are a child of the living God. He will sit on this table and will give you access to the fullness of fruitfulness as He had destined for you. In being fruitful you are called to receive healing and also remain in good health; you are called to have spiritual and physical peace each day; called to have a peaceful home; you are called to be happily engaged and married, to have success in life and in your profession, to have children and remain in your family; you are called to have the light and salt of Christ Jesus in you and to be the salt and light in your generation and of the world. In being fruitful you are called to be a source that others can depend on and have hope and joy of a better day and a better future. The lack of fruitfulness is a source of concern not only to you alone but also to your parents, to your family, to the Church and body of Christ Jesus and to the entire world. God wants to make you a source for others to trust in Him.

“Jesus got up and left there and went to the region of Tyre. He entered a house and did not want anyone to know about it, but it was impossible for Him to be hidden from the public. Instead, after hearing about Him, a woman whose little daughter had an unclean spirit immediately came and fell at His feet. Now the woman was a Gentile, a Syrophoenician by nationality. And she kept pleading with Him to drive the demon out of her daughter. He was saying to her, first let the children be fed, for it is not right to take the children’s bread and throw it to the pet dogs. But she replied, yes, Lord, but even the pet dogs under the table eat the children’s crumbs. And He said to her, because of this answer reflecting your humility and faith, go knowing that your request is granted; the demon has left your daughter permanently. And returning to her home, she found the child lying on the couch relaxed and resting, the demon having gone.” Mark 7:24-30.

In this passage, we read of a daughter who was sick, possessed and unable to meet expectations of her life. Everyone around had concern for her, for her health and what she will grow up to be in the future though she did not understand what was going on in her life. Based on that concern, her mother who was not a Jew decided to seek the attention of Jesus Christ and when she did, she expressed her desire for her daughter; she showed Christ her faith in His words even though she was not a Jew; she showed great patience and tolerance, she showed humility and willingness to see her daughter’s health delivered, restored and fruitful, and she did not leave the presence of Christ empty-handed. You will not remain in His presence fruitless. For prayers Click here
