When God is in your mission, irrespective of the forces of darkness from hell, irrespective of the evil intents of the hearts of men, irrespective of the weapons use against you, irrespective of your location and skin color, irrespective of your knowledge and wisdom, irrespective of the array of powers and people in position to destroy you, irrespective of the delays, irrespective of plans and the game and what you will ever experience in and on the mission, God will always open a door for you, He will always plant someone inside there for you, once the Lord Jesus Christ is leading the mission, is still guiding you daily, is still speaking to your actions, hearts and mind, and still there with you to take all the glory in the mission as promised and planned, you will have the victory you have been waiting for, you will definitely see the mission fulfilled and you will also see the Lord glorified in that place as in the mission. Did you know that every man or woman on a mission planned, desired, destined, purposed and directed by Christ Jesus will have a man with the same intent as Jonathan in the place God is sending you to bond for the only purpose of the fulfillment of the mission? Did you know that the devil will be there also to ensure you never meet the person like Jonathan? Or you never give this person a chance to be close to you?

Right from onset, long before David stepped his feet on the floor of the palace, he clearly heard Samuel that God had chosen him to be the next king after Saul; he truly believed the power of the anointing he received and also believed that God will never lie to anyone and what he heard was absolutely true and very realistic. He went there with the mindset that he had been anointed by God through Samuel for that position and he never changed what he believed despite what Saul was doing to him. Also, Jonathan knew before the arrival of David to the palace that he will be the next king after his father and his father must have told that several times over.

Jonathan was a close confidant of David and David was a trusted confidant to David in the things concerning assignments given to each of them by the king, the two kept themselves together and shared common understanding of the plans of God; the two believed in the future much more than the present; the two trusted each other much more every day and shared their concerns for each other’s welfare and wellbeing; the two knew the plans of God for David and the plans king Saul had for Jonathan his son; the two knew God will always have His ways in every situation; the two knew God is to be trusted much more than men; the two did not engage in evil against each other but knew the existence of the evil and allowed God to work His purpose and plans out through the purity of their heart and purpose and above all, the two never struggle for anything. They were out to please each other as much as they could even when it involved falling out of favor with the king in power. The simplicity of David matched the simplicity of Jonathan despite the powers given to them in the city and their respective positions in the palace. Remember, to king Saul, David was a servant in the palace, an errand boy to the king and a captain in his army while Jonathan was a son and an heir to the throne after him but God was there to work out the difference and implement His plans for each of them.

The quick and easy bonding in relationship between David and Jonathan was God’s special plan for the, it was God’s design to be so quick and easy, it was God’s purpose to preserve the life and mission of David, it was God’s way of giving David the assurance of the future, and it was God’s way to show to men that, when He proposes a thing, He will also ensure that it is done. Did you know that God had planted someone for you where you are right now before you got there? Did you believe and know that He is leading you? “I will go before you and level the mountains; I will shatter the doors of bronze and cut through the bars of iron. I will give you the treasures of darkness, the hoarded treasures and the hidden riches of secret places So that you may know that it is I, the Lord, the God of Israel, who calls you by your name.” Isaiah 45:2-3.
