There are things that will definitely change in your life and in your situations despite the bad times, the long years, delays and frustrations; despite the circumstances surrounding you; despite all the unfavorable words and failing promises of men; despite the expectations of the wicked in your case and life, despite your age and profession, and despite your location. Following Jesus Christ is always rewarding and believing His words is more rewarding; having faith in Him is rewarding and acting on that faith is more rewarding. Deciding to be a Christian is rewarding and deciding to remain a faithful and obedient Christian is more rewarding. The reward of God to all Christians through and from Christ is always far beyond our best expectations and imaginations; they are better than what any men will be able to do or any system in place can and will offer us; and they are always transforming, pure, and very clear in all circumstances irrespective of our location. Your decisions in life matters, but the actions you take after the decision matters most and it is the actions that produce the expected result and not the decision.

This man had a twelve-year-old daughter who was sick and she was his only child; he wealthy and must have done all to see that his daughter is healed and restored but it seems his efforts failed but he did not stop there, he still maintains his expectations and decided to call on Christ Jesus to visit his house and to heal his daughter. On their way to the man’s house, two things happened, the man was informed his daughter had died from the sickness and that he should forget the visit and stop disturbing Jesus Christ about his daughter, on hearing that, Jesus told the man, do not afraid of the bad news concerning your daughter, keep your expectations alive and believe. The result of the visit was amazing and far beyond the expectations of the people who had come to mourn and to sympathize with the man; it became a scene of celebration, a scene of restored joy, a scene of restoring hope, a scene of restored confidence in Jesus Christ, confidence in His words, and restored confidence in His power. I am looking forward to your restoration beyond what people say to you and beyond what you think of yourself, and Christ Jesus will do it for you.

“And as Jesus returned, the people welcomed Him, for they had all been waiting for Him. And there came a man named Jairus, and he was an official of the synagogue; and he fell at Jesus’ feet, and began to implore Him to come to his house; for he had an only daughter, about twelve years old, and she was dying. But as He went, the crowds were pressing against Him. And a woman who had a hemorrhage for twelve years, and could not be healed by anyone, came up behind Him and touched the fringe of His cloak, and immediately her hemorrhage stopped. And Jesus said, who is the one who touched Me? And while they were all denying it, Peter said Master, the people are crowding and pressing in on You. But Jesus said, someone, did touch Me, for I was aware that power had gone out of Me. When the woman saw that she had not escaped notice, she came trembling and fell down before Him, and declared in the presence of all the people the reason why she had touched Him, and how she had been immediately healed. And He said to her, Daughter, your faith has made you well, go in peace. While He was still speaking, someone came from the house of the synagogue official, saying, your daughter has died, do not trouble the Teacher anymore. But when Jesus heard this, He answered him, do not be afraid any longer; only believe, and she will be made well. When He came to the house, He did not allow anyone to enter with Him, except Peter and John and James, and the girl’s father and mother. Now they were all weeping and lamenting for her; but He said, stop weeping, for she has not died, but is asleep. And they began laughing at Him, knowing that she had died. He, however, took her by the hand and called, saying, child, arise, and her spirit returned, and she got up immediately, and He gave orders for something to be given her to eat. Her parents were amazed, but He instructed them to tell no one what had happened.” Luke 8:40-56. Prayer Request Click here
