I DO NOT UNDERSTAND BUT I KNOW MY GOD

Mary did not understand why she was chosen to be the channel that will bless the entire world in birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, but our Father in heaven who made the choice did not make a mistake; did not disappoint her; did not fail in fulfilling His promise; did not dump her thereafter; did not allow the devil to destroy His plans and purpose through her; did not leave her thereafter to mourn and to suffer; did not leave her comfortless after Christ Jesus was accused, abused, stripped naked and hanged on the cross. God did not destroy her marriage despite attempt by the husband to discard her; and god did bot allow the plans of the devil against her to destroy her. What are you going through today? or what have you been going through in life since the very day you start believing in Jesus Christ as your only Lord and savior; since the time you started following His words with all diligence; since you started expecting the fulfillment of all of His promises in your life; since the day you decided personally to always remain faithful, truthful, and committed to Him till the end. Though you may understand what is happening to you, the God who did not disappoint Mary will not disappoint you. Though Mary did not understand, but she knew her God and knew that He will not fail her, and true to her expectation, she was not in any way disappointed. You will not be disappointed.

Job did all that was physically and spiritually necessary for a supper perfect security and twenty four hours continuous coverage for himself, his family and his business by the only Lord he had served with all his heart for years; the only God he sincerely believed without a doubt; the only God he fully trusted in the day and in the night to be with him, by him and for, and he never understood why he was chosen by the devil to inflict such suffering. Job never knew he will ever survive the pains, the shame, the sickness, the loss of his business, family, and everything else he ever had; he never knew he will ever recover and God did not promise him in dream, vision or revelation that He will restore him; but one thing Job did, he knew his God will not fail him, he knew his God is always with him, for him, and by him; he knew his God can do all things and he knew his God is always true, always faithful and always willing. At the end of all that happened to him, Job was not disappointed, was not left in shame, was not left childless and was not left homeless. Like Job, you may not understand why, you may not see the reason why, and you may not never you deserve what you are going through. But as God did not disappoint Job, as He our God did not leave Job childless, homeless, in shame, sick and in lack, so will He not also in any way leave you in the situation that you are right now.

Noah did not know that following God will pay him when at the end; he did not know that God will always reward righteousness even when you are resisted, frustrated and experienced severe satanic delays because of your stand on righteousness; he did not know that trusting God come with a test that you are required to overcome; he did not know that obedience and diligence to the things of God will result in exaltation and glory, but he trusted God and did all that He asked him to do and at the end, Noah survive the flood with his family, possession and inherited the whole earth. You may not understand, but your God understands and will not fail you; will not disappoint you, and will not leave you alone in you work with Him.

You may not truly understand, but God has not made a mistake in your case and will never leave you the same indefinitely. “And He Who searches the hearts of men knows what is in the mind of the Holy Spirit, what His intent is, because the Spirit intercedes and pleads before God in behalf of the saints according to and in harmony with God’s will. We are assured and know that God being a partner in their labor, all things work together and are fitting into a plan for good to and for those who love God and are called according to His design and purpose.” Romans 8:27-28.
