MY FATHER AND MY LORD, I AM LOST (1)

“When Jesus heard it, He saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. And the disciples of John and of the Pharisees used to fast and they come and say unto Him, why do the disciples of John and of the Pharisees fast, but thy disciples fast not? And Jesus said unto them, Can the children of the bridechamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them? As long as they have the bridegroom with them, they cannot fast. But the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, and then shall they fast in those days. No man also seweth a piece of new cloth on an old garment, else the new piece that filled it up taketh away from the old, and the rent is made worse.” Mark 2:17-21. This old garment must be taken away, I need a new one Oh Lord for your glory to be seen. The burden is much, the pains are unbearable and the troubles are on the increase, when help does not come from the Lord, what shall the righteous do? It is the sick who needs a physician, I am sick and lost Oh Lord, I need a physician to address these spiritual and these physical distressing and disturbing experience in my life.

Jesus Christ said we should seek help, and seek a physician. It is not out of place to cry to God when things are not going right; when you know or do not know what is going on and what to do next. It is not out of pray as you work, to wait on God and not on men, and to seek help from Him when one is totally lost and confused about what next to do. Because of what I see, because of what I feel, because of what I experience, and because of what people are saying, I am lost, and I am confused. Those are the words and feelings of many God-loving, and God-fearing Christians in their privacy today. They have suffered much, experienced much, seen much delays, seen many unanswered prayers, and have pains in the heart because of what is going on. In many instances, there seems to be no way of getting up or getting out again from the troubles. They have prayed, they have cried and they are still waiting. The question and the cry are, Oh Lord, how much more can or will I take, how much longer should I wait because I am not giving up, and how soon will you come to my help and what should I do next? Friends, acquaintances, and associates have left, I am deserted, I am left alone confused, I am lost in thoughts and words, I am weak and lost my strength, I have no comfort, and I am lost not knowing what to do next.

Those who should help are not coming forth, those who want or think they can help do not have and are not strong enough to stand the challenges. Those who have are refusing, but despite all, despite my being lost and confused, my eyes are still on you for help, for a miracle, and for a breakthrough. I am not asking for relief, but for a true divine miracle; a divine intervention that will really break the yoke, take all the trouble away, and make a way for a sustained divine breakthrough that will glorify your name in my life. Doing all you can isn’t enough except God helps; praying hard isn’t enough except God answers, challenging yourself isn’t enough unless God takes you through the system, through the situation, and through the difficulties. Sins had been confessed and forsaken, restitution made, and hope restored, yet the blessings are yet to begin, the seed is yet to take root, and the fruits are yet to be seen.

It is when a seed takes root that it can be fertilized and become strong to start bearing fruits that will satisfy the hungry and meet the needs of the people. Knowing where you are will help you find where you are going; knowing what you are will help you find what you need, and knowing where you are going will help you find direction. Lord, I am lost and except I receive help from you, the help of men is vain though they are not coming. I remain courageous and hopeful in you because You will not fail and your word will not fail. “Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6.
