"SO THAT YOUR JOY MAY BE FULL"

Post date: Apr 18, 2018 3:47:17 AM

Did you know that the purpose of your salvation, forgiveness, blessings, restoration, and life from God is that your joy should be full? That is His desire for you; He has done all, will do all and will continue to do all so that you will come to the fullness of the joy He desired and destined for you. The joy of many are diminishing but Christ wants yours to increase; He desires your life to be filled with His joyful presence, with His amazing love, and with His transforming mercies; He desires your home, marriage, family, and job to be filled with a differentiating kind of joy, not the kind that is shortlived but longlasting. “For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you, says the Lord, plans for peace and wellbeing and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call on Me and you will come and pray to Me, and I will hear your voice and will listen to you. Then with deep longing, you will seek Me and require Me as a vital necessity and you will find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you, says the Lord, I will restore your fortunes and I will free you and gather you from all the nations and from all the places where I have driven you says the Lord, and I will bring you back to the place from where I sent you into exile”. Jeremiah 29:11-14

The reason God restores you is that your joy will be full; you will overcome rejection, loneliness, wrong feelings and unholy imaginations; that you will not be an outcast among your colleagues, friends, and family; that you will no more be a victim in the hands of the devil; that you will rise and declare with confidence His goodness and His mercies in the land; you will have confidence in Him, in His words, in your prayers, in trusting, and when talking to others; so that through you others will have confidence also in following Him; so that the words of God will be proven right before our eyes, and to show the world that God is still alive and active today in the lives of all His children. t is good to know that God will restore you even for greater reasons even when you have gone astray or made painful mistakes. God restored Abraham so that His words will not fail and His promises will come to pass, God restored Abraham so that through him Christians in the entire world will be blessed and remain faithful while waiting for the fullness of the promise. He rescued and restored Noah so that Christians will know that no matter the turbulence we face, no matter the temptation we have, no matter the flood of afflictions, and no matter the discouraging words from men, God is able and willing and will rescue and restore us if we remain faithful to Him in all things. When God restored the prodigal son, his joy and that of his family were fully restored also; when God restored Lazarus, his joy and that of his family were full, when God restored David, his joy and that of his family were full. For the fullness of your joy, God will restore you for He said and you will see it and rejoice in it.

“Remain in Me, and I will remain in you. As no branch can bear fruit by itself without remaining in the vine, neither can you bear fruit, producing evidence of faith unless you remain in Me. I am the Vine; you are the branches. The one who remains in Me and I in him bears much fruit, for apart from Me, you can do nothing. If anyone does not remain in Me, he is thrown out like a broken off branch, and withers and dies; and they gather such branches and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. If you remain in Me and My words remain in you that is, if we are vitally united and My message lives in your heart, ask whatever you wish and it will be done for you. My Father is glorified and honored by this, when you bear much fruit and prove yourselves to be My true disciples. I have loved you just as the Father has loved Me; remain in My love and do not doubt My love for you. If you keep My commandments and obey My teaching, you will remain in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and remain in His love. I have told you these things so that My joy and delight may be in you, and that your joy may be made full and complete and overflowing.” John15:1-11. For prayer Click here
