ALWAYS VERY HOPEFUL

Post date: Apr 24, 2014 4:00:02 AM

There are days and times when we physically feel very low, uninterested in moving on in certain things, highly discouraged and disturbed by things we see, hear and experience. These feelings are not strange and they are not to define our expectations in Christ Jesus. In whatever situation we find ourselves, we should know that our God is always there with us to perfect His plans and to take us far beyond such situation.

We should always remember that there is no permanent adverse situation in life despite our weaknesses and failures, as the feelings comes, so will they go also. All types of low feelings are bound to always change, and with God on our side and with time they will definitely change for good. Feeling low in whatever situation is never new on earth and will never be the end of life for you, it had never been the very best of you, and it will never be the best level that you will ever attain in this life. God had destined you to be above such feelings, and to be very hopeful

There are several things in this life that will eventually make one to feel to very low; some of those things may be spiritual and many are definitely physical. Many are as a result of some disappointments after a high level of expectations; to others, it may be having to wait on God too long for the fulfillment of a promise, the manifestation of a dream and for the result of a prayer request concerning an issue in their lives and that of their family members.

To some it may be having prayed and trusted God for so long on an issue they know very well will favor them and advance they living standard, advance them in their profession, advance them in their marriages and among their colleagues, waiting and trusting that the result of their prayer and expectations will be positive but it came out negative. To some it may be a result of sudden misfortune after adequate self-preparation with their knowledge and efforts and all the best assurance of a good result.

To some it may be as a result of spiritual or physical wickedness, jealousy, envy, hatred and pure evil manipulations. But despite what may be the reason of your feeling low and discouraged, God expects that you will never loss your hope in Him and in His ability to step in and turn things around for you. God expects that you will lift up your eyes above those things, you will fix your trust in Him and you will confess His goodness in all situations.

Jesus Christ our Lord was disappointed by the betrayal of Judas, was physically brought low, stripped naked, beaten and punished for committing no crime, but He was still very hopeful in the Fathers ability to turn things around for Him and He did. The morals of all the disciples of Jesus Christ were completely depleted when He was arrested, tried, condemned and killed, but in their time of extreme physical, spiritual and mental lowness, they heard the news of the resurrection of Jesus Christ and their strength was restored. That is what is going to happen to you as you wait for the good news from heaven

“For some little time You have ranked him lower than and inferior to the angels; You have crowned him with glory and honor and set him over the works of Your hands, For You have put everything in subjection under his feet. Now in putting everything in subjection to man, He left nothing outside of man’s control. But at present we do not yet see all things subjected to him. But we are able to see Jesus, Who was ranked lower than the angels for a little while, crowned with glory and honor because of His having suffered death, in order that by the grace of God He might experience death for every individual person. For it was an act worthy of God and fitting to the divine nature that He, for Whose sake and by Whom all things have their existence, in bringing many sons into glory, should make the Pioneer of their salvation perfect, should bring to maturity the human experience necessary to be perfectly equipped for His office as High Priest through suffering.” Hebrews 2:6-10.
