“HERE IS MY REQUEST LIST FOR 2018 DEAR FATHER”

Post date: Jan 1, 2018 1:24:47 AM

There is a purpose, there is a desire, and there is a plan for you this year. God is not just bringing you into it to celebrate others, He wants you to be celebrated also; He is not going to allow you pass through this year without something significant in your possession to show, and to tell the world about His goodness towards you, in you, and for you. The year of His shining glory and reward in your life is here. We have to begin well and we have to begin with thanksgiving and presenting the needs have now before Him. This is His command in John 14:14 “Yes, ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it. Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks finds, and to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened. You parents, if your children ask for a loaf of bread, do you give them a stone instead? Or if they ask for a fish, do you give them a snake? Of course not, so if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give good gifts to those who ask him.” Matthew 7:7-11

Yes, He said ask; did you know that there are things we will never be able to get in life unless we ask God for them? Not because we do not know them, desire them, or we failed to work hard enough to have them but because we do not ask God for them. We have trusted so much on our labors, on our pays, on the profits we make, friends, recommendations, relatives, connections, educational achievements, beauty, and on our physical locations to have these things. There is nothing wrong depending on those things but our strength, friends, knowledge, and our abilities will often fail to deliver what we need but God will never fail. Never take your God out of your situations and needs irrespective of its nature and your location and your position. James 4:2 says: “Yet you don’t have what you want because you don’t ask God for it. Let us begin right, let us trust God beyond what we see, feel, heard, and what we know. The God we serve is far ahead of the world in everything and far more than our knowledge and feelings can express; He is God, He is faithful, He is loving, able to exceedingly abundantly do above what we can think and ask concerning our needs and there is no other god like Him and never will any ever be.

Yes, He said to ask, and the question is what should we ask? Ask God for everything. This is just a few: (1) God health, (2) Protection, promotion, and security, (3) Healthy relationship with God and with men (3) Peace in all areas (4) A spouse and marriage (5) Direction and guidance (6) Resources and finances (7) A home (8) freedom from debt and other things (9) Increase and expansion (10) All round restoration (11) True vision and not vanity vision (12) Great and useful ideas (13) Acceptance (14) Rescue from boredom (15) Grace and justification (16) Prudence  (17) Power and ability. Remember, our God is inexhaustible; God will not postpone the days of meetings the needs of your life.

Hannah never knew how the baby will come but she ask and God gave her seven; Jabez never knew how this change will come, but he asked God to bless him indeed, to enlarge his border, His hands to be with him and would keep him from all evil, and God granted his request. Solomon asked for wisdom; Elijah asked for fire; Bartimaeus asked his sight to be restored; Hezekiah asked to extend his life; Joshua asked the sun and the moon to stand still, and God granted all of them. Ask from God in faith and leave the how for Him, He will answer. Ask whatever you need and whatever you will need; ask always and keep asking without giving up; ask without allowing yourself to be distracted by the words of others; ask until you have what you requested in your hands for He had promised to answer. Jesus Christ gave us this assurance, for everyone who will ask, will receive; everyone who will seek will find; everyone who will knock, it will be opened, and how much more will your heavenly Father give good gifts to those who ask him? That is the promise for you this year. HAPPY NEW YEAR. For prayers Click here
