“No temptation regardless of its source has overtaken or enticed you that is not common to human experience nor is any temptation unusual or beyond human resistance, but God is faithful to His word, He is compassionate and trustworthy, and He will not let you be tempted beyond your ability to resist, but along with the temptation He has in the past and is now and will always provide the way out as well so that you will be able to endure it without yielding, and will overcome temptation with joy.” 1 Corinthians 10:13. The wicked with all their knowledge and in the power of their evil activities does not want you to be anointed; sin with its power of guilt and the power of condemnation wants you to be condemned before God and man and be denied the blessings and the power of the anointing, and your evil competitors, friends, and colleagues do not want you to be anointed so that you will not rise above them or experience the change you truly deserve as a Christain, but before the temptation and the text, God in His knowledge, love, and ability had prepared a way for your ultimate victory so you will be anointed and made ready for the work He had destined for you and be celebrated in ways that will glorify His name.

Joshua was asked to be courageous even in times of discouragement, not to be fearful in times of fear, not to be disappointment in failing times, and never to give up in challenging times despite the weapons and peoples and nations being used to fight against him or try to destabilize his life, distract his focus and stop the purpose he was called and anointed for. The challenges in your life today, the daily test and temptation of the demands of the anointing will not make God to change His mind and His plans concerning you and will not make you fail. God through His words, through the power of the Holy Spirit and through His grace had prepared you to succeed.

Do not be afraid of the demands of the anointing, you just need to be faithful, consistent in Christ and obedient to Him. It is definitely true that God will finish with excellent precision what He had started in you. The God who saved and called you is preparing you through the demands of His anointing to meet up with His standard and destiny for your life. He will not fail, He will not abandon you because of these demands and you will not fail. You will accomplish the purpose of God for your life and will rejoice in the result of His anointing. The children of Israel were given this assurance by Mses according to promise God made with Abraham, he said “It is the Lord your God who will cross ahead of you; He will destroy these nations before you, and you shall dispossess them. Joshua is the one who will go across before you to lead you, just as the Lord has said. The Lord will do to them just as He did to Sihon and Og the kings of the Amorites, and to their land when He destroyed them. The Lord will hand them over to you, and you shall do to them in accordance with all the commandments which I have commanded you. Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or tremble in dread before them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not fail you or abandon you.” Deuteronomy 31:3-6. When the reasons are fulfilled, you will possess what had been promised, you will be what and where and who God had said, and He will raise and keep you above others and beyond their power of destruction and any influence of their wickedness.

They were told clearly, it will not be by their power or might, but that God will go before them, He will prepare the victory for them and He will take them to the place He had prepared, and give the land for their own possession. Paul said there is sufficient grace for you from heaven to overcome, to pass, and be anointed; there are enough angels sent from heaven to keep you in the day and in the night against contrary spirits and the Holy Spirit is there to help you all the way. Apostle Paul was told; “My grace is sufficient for you, My lovingkindness and My mercy are more than enough, always available regardless of the situation; for My power is being perfected in your weakness.” 2 Corinthians 12:9.
