The Almighty God is absolutely in control of every event in the world and He will ensure victory for His children, for all who trust in Him and follow His ways; He will not be put to shame in all situations and He will never be defeated. Despite the delays and the words and the thoughts in the hearts of men concerning you and what you are going through, through Christ Jesus who is your Lord and Savior, you will be redeemed and given a joyful victory. The blood that was shed on the Cross at Calvary was not in vain, it was for a purpose and that purpose will definitely be fulfilled. Despite your thinking, the delays, humiliations, discouragements, and the physical and emotional destructions, I want you to know that God will finish what He had started; He will complete the battle, He will defeat the enemy, He will give you the victory. There is no limit that God will not go to redeem His children, His power is real and very effective in dismantling the powers of the enemies. God will redeem you, He will restore you, He will bless you, He will use you, He knows your name, your location, and your situation. What He did for the children of Israel while in captivity in Egypt, He will do for you. I want you to trust in His past testimonies and look forward to your own testimony. What He did for others, He can and will also do for you.

The Plague of Darkness: “Then the Lord said to Moses, stretch out your hand toward the sky so that darkness spreads over Egypt, darkness that can be felt. So Moses stretched out his hand toward the sky, and total darkness covered all Egypt for three days. No one could see anyone else or move about for three days. Yet all the Israelites had light in the places where they lived.

The Plague on the Firstborn: Now the Lord had said to Moses, I will bring one more plague on Pharaoh and on Egypt. After that, he will let you go from here, and when he does, he will drive you out completely. Tell the people that men and women alike are to ask their neighbors for articles of silver and gold. The Lord made the Egyptians favorably disposed toward the people, and Moses himself was highly regarded in Egypt by Pharaoh’s officials and by the people. So Moses said, this is what the Lord says: about midnight I will go throughout Egypt. Every firstborn son in Egypt will die, from the firstborn son of Pharaoh, who sits on the throne, to the firstborn son of the female slave, who is at her hand mill and all the firstborn of the cattle as well. There will be loud wailing throughout Egypt, worse than there has ever been or ever will be again. But among the Israelites, not a dog will bark at any person or animal. Then you will know that the Lord makes a distinction between Egypt and Israel. All these officials of yours will come to me, bowing down before me and saying go you and all the people who follow you. After that, I will leave. Then Moses, hot with anger, left Pharaoh. The Lord had said to Moses, Pharaoh will refuse to listen to you so that my wonders may be multiplied in Egypt. Moses and Aaron performed all these wonders before Pharaoh, but the Lord hardened Pharaoh’s heart, and he would not let the Israelites go out of his country.

Remember, His ways are not our ways and His thoughts are higher than our thoughts. His ways are perfect and He will perfect His acts concerning you. If the blood of calf was that effective to protect the children of Israel in Egypt, the blood of Jesus Christ is more effective and will also protect you till your expected victory is announced.
