No. 9 SCHEDULE: I WILL DEFEND YOU

Post date: Feb 12, 2016 1:00:32 AM

God will not only defend you physically, He will also defend you spiritually, financially and in all material things. In defending He will preserve you and sustain you in His love; in defending you He will uphold you and ensure you are where He said and had placed you and nothing will harm you there. He will defend your income and expenditure and ensure you have enough left for desired protects and expansion. In defending He will deliver you from the spirits and powers of wastage; in defending He will heal you from sicknesses and ensure you have good health to stand up for Him; in defending He will order your steps each day, will order the words you speak and the answers you give in every occasion; on defending He will speak to you each day on the next action, the next decisions and the next confrontation, He will direct your actions and the places you will go and what you will do. In defending, He will ensure you are safe from all the evils and curses of men. In defending, He will keep you by Himself and for His purpose. “Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; unless the Lord guards the city, the watchman keeps awake in vain.” Psalm 127:1

The cost of protection in fast reaching the skies, getting out of reach to many in all nations of the world today; the security of lives and property is the topmost issue these days and the price is on the upward move without any sign of stopping and yet, despite how much you have to pay, none is safe and none is delivered from the wickedness that seeks to destroy. The utmost security is in God and in His words. That does not mean we should not take proactive measures, but we should never depend on our actions but absolutely depend on the words and ability of God to keep us safe and secured and active doing what He had destined for us to do in life.

Being successful is not as easy as some may think and remaining faithful and committed to the Almighty God in love, in all humility and with full sincerity to His words is not easy also, but when you put God first in everything you think and do and with a strong determination, He will keep you and will make you more successful in more things. In God’s schedule for your life is His plans and preparation to defend you absolutely, to protect you from falling into the evil plans that will come because of your success, to rescue you from all hands of evil, rescue you from the presence of evil men with evil thoughts and evil imaginations, to preserve your life and keep you in His purpose for your life in the place He had scheduled for you; to speak for you in the time of your absence and give you the wisdom needed to stand strong and faithful in times of trial.

After Samuel has opened the schedule of David to him, many odd things began happening to him right from the forest to the palace and out of the palace, but God was with David in all things and in all places; He never allowed David to be dismayed by King Saul, by the people and by all the things he suffered. God was the one who kept him from being destroyed by the bears and lions in the forest; he was the one who kept him from being defeated by Goliath and he was the one who kept him from being killed by the spear of King Saul. That same God will keep you and will defend you for His glory and for His name sake.

“So do not be afraid of them, for nothing is hidden that will not be revealed or kept secret that will not be made known. What I say to you in the dark, tell in the light; and what you hear whispered in your ear, proclaim from the housetops. Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul; but rather be afraid of Him who can destroy both soul and body in hell. Are not two little sparrows sold for a copper coin? And yet not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will. But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So do not fear; you are more valuable than many sparrows. Therefore, the one who confesses and acknowledges Me before men, that one I will also confess and acknowledge before My Father who is in heaven.” Matthew 10:26-32 Click here for prayer
