THE ANOINTING, THE TIME, THE SEASON (2)

Luke in writing to Theophilos said; “The first account I made, Theophilus, was a continuous report about all the things that Jesus began to do and to teach until the day when He ascended to heaven after He had by the Holy Spirit given instruction to the apostles whom He had chosen. To these men He also showed Himself alive after His suffering in Gethsemane and on the cross, by a series of many infallible proofs and unquestionable demonstrations, appearing to them over a period of forty days and talking to them about the things concerning the kingdom of God. While being together and eating with them, He commanded them not to leave Jerusalem, but to wait for what the Father had promised, of which, He said, you have heard Me speak, for John baptized with water, but you will be baptized and empowered and united with the Holy Spirit, not long from now.” Acts 1:1-5. Luke reminded us of what Christ said to the apostle and those same words are applicable to us today. To the Apostles, Jesus said the time was coming soon for the anointing and the Holy Spirit to come and to you also, that time is coming soon. Did you know that there is a time for every action and a reason for every purpose? God will not do anything without having a reason based on pure love, based on the truth in His words and on His promises to you. Ones He had spoken, it is written, the next level is the manifestation at the time set by Him and nothing will change that time, the season and that purpose.

In the time and moment of fear, uncertainty, confusion, and lack of what is right to do to avoid a pending calamity, at a time when counseling was needed above everything else to preserve their lives even when such counsel will involve forgoing the mission, Jesus Christ appeared on the scene and with great confidence told His disciples where they were gathered; the appointed time will surely come for the promise to be fulfill; the mission will be accomplished when the Holy Spirit and the anointing comes on you, the mission will begin and will definitely be expanded by you to all nations and your lives will never remain the same again, only obey what I say, and follow my instructions. And it came to pass as Christ told them. All of them who gathered at that place together that day received the Holy Spirit in a greater measure and the anointing and the mission from then on was unstoppable and they were all witnesses to the results. Your time will definitely come, be prepared; the anointing will follow, be ready; the mission will begin and will be accomplished by no one else but you, obey His words and follow His instructions. Did you know in all situations and circumstances God had never missed a moment, a time, a purpose, and a desire? His words had never failed, His words had never returned unaccomplished and His desires had never been subjected to the powers of men for completion. God is infinite in power, in knowledge and He is able to do what He desires without assistance, please be submissive to Him, the road may be tough and rough, but God is able to take you through and He will.

You may have passed your own set time, but God has not passed the time He sets for your life and for your anointing; you may have missed your own season, but God had not missed any of the seasons He has for your fruitfulness and blessings; you may have missed your set purpose in life but God has not missed His purpose for your life in Him, He can restore you, He will rescue you, and He will enable you. God told Abraham through the angels, the time is here for the promised son to be seen, and for your season of joy to be seen. That was an assurance after years of hope, after years of believing and holding on to a promise, and after years of expectations that seem will never come. Let me assure you again, as God did not forget His promise to Abraham despite the years, the troubles and the delays, so has He not forgotten yours; as God did not forget the season to give Abraham and Sarah the joy they deserved, so has He not forgotten the season for your joy. “And the Lord visited Sarah as he had said, and the Lord did unto Sarah as he had spoken.” Genesis 21:1.
