YOU ARE NOT CONDEMNED

Despite what had happened to you before and is happening now, despite what you and others think, feel and say will happen again, be it generational or otherwise, as long as Christ Jesus is on the throne of His glory in and over your life continuously, those circumstances will not condemned you before your God. This is a divine declaration for you from today, despite the visible odds, the weakness, the prolonged struggles with a particular situation and all unhealthy arguments with evil; “You shall go out with joy; and be led forth with peace; the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree; and it shall be to the Lord for a name, for an everlasting sign and shall not be cut off.” Isaiah 55:12-13

There is nothing absolutely wrong in losing one or two battles in life, feeling occasionally empty and sometimes sad, but it is completely inappropriate and unacceptable thereafter to feel and to accept and to maintain the thought that you have been condemned by your God for losing those battles, and to carry such thoughts and feelings of condemnation in your heart the rest of your life; or to give up the battles ahead of you as a result of the past failure or give up living and striving by His grace for greater things ahead for you. Your failure in one venture does not mean you are condemned and incapable of winning other battles tomorrow.

Besides, what you know and think you have lost or lose in life now may turn out to be a gain for you in the nearest future. You can never underestimate what your God can do and will do when you keep your trust in Him despite those failures. Those things you think you have lost may even turn out to be false or a clear wakeup call for greater things to come in your life. In almost all cases, your thoughts, judgments and feelings of the things around you are quite contrary to that of your God in the same issue about your life. We are assured in the scripture that:-

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater” Isaiah 55:8-10

There are, and there will ever be several struggles in this life. Some of the battles you will win and some you will lose, but despite what happens to you as a child of God, in His infinite mercy, you will not be condemn because you lose a battle. Beside, as long as God is with you in all things, you will never lose the battles that He has destined for you to win, that which is destined to advance your life, your vision, your desire and to boost your relationship with Him.

You might not have what you want right now, but you are not condemned, you might not have reached the zenith of your dreams and my desires in life, but you are not condemned. Things may look rough and difficult now and in the future, but your God has not and will not condemn you. You may have lost several battles in life, but you have not loosed the one destined by God to advance your purpose on earth.

“Therefore, there is now no condemnation, no adjudging guilty of wrong for those who are in Christ Jesus, who live and walk not after the dictates of the flesh, but after the dictates of the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life which is in Christ Jesus has freed me from the law of sin and of death. For God has done what the Law could not do, its power being weakened by the flesh the entire nature of man without the Holy Spirit. Sending His own Son in the guise of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, God condemned sin in the flesh subdued, overcame, and deprived it of its power over all who accept that sacrifice.” Romans 8:1-3.
