ANOINTING COMES WITH DEMANDS (8)

I want you to know that the battle against sin, against evil workers and their allies, against all the forces and powers of darkness and against all forms of spiritual and physical irrelevance in ones life is not just a one time battle and a one time victory, it is an everyday battle and everyone must be actively involved individually and collectively. The devil is taking the battle against believers in Christ Jesus to every corner of the earth, to every private and government institution, to every office and every profession, to every believers home and business and relationships; he is taking it to even the Church of God. Always remember Christ had the victory gave us the power on the cross to have that same victory daily. Do not forget that the demands of the anointing will be continuous but differs from the previous ones in scope, style, time and place, but in all, you are, and you will through Christ Jesus be able to overcome all in a very successful way. Apostle Paul encouraging the Church in Ephesians wrote; “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.” Ephesians 6:12-18.

The test and temptations we face every day, every time and everywhere from known and unknown sources are enormous and very depressing, but the power of the anointing will fully relieve us of that depression, replacing it with joyful moments and good evidence of success. For that joy to be sustained, we have to give ourselves to fulfilling the demands of the anointing from heaven. This anointing will demand you give yourself to fasting often, not as a punishment but for spiritual sensitivity and purification; it will demand you pray often to keep yourself ready for the battle against evil and to ask God for more of His grace and more of His presence in your life and in the things you do. It will demand you study His word the more to be able to have all the confidence needed to say to Satan as Jesus said, it written. It will demand you seek more of God’s mercies and benevolence and blessing. It will demand you remain faithful to God in all things and at all times irrespective of the prevailing circumstances; it will demand your absolute obedience to God irrespective of your feelings, your pains, and your understanding of events. It will demand you honesty to God and to men in all things; it will demand you to be humble at all times before God and men; it will demand you seek to walk in the holiness of Christ Jesus; it will demand your truthfulness and trust; it will demand you seek and depend on the wisdom of God and His word and not that of men or science; it will demand you seek and have divine knowledge in all that you will do, it will demand consistency if faith and actions; it will demand dependency on our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at all time. “And besides this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; and to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; and to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. For if these things are in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.” 2 Peter 1:3-9. For prayers Click here
