God will restore your long lost joy for living, for serving Him, for the work you are doing; He will restore the joy in your home, in your job, in your profession, in your marriage, with your spouse, with your children, and in your family. Many people have lost their joy in ways they could not imagine and for many reasons; they started life or a project or their marriage, their job with great joy but ends up losing that joy due to things they never anticipated when they began; the unexpected failures, unexpected and unplanned disappointments, discouragements, and failure to meet up with demand. Many have end lost the joy of following the Lord, serving Him faithfully and talking about Him openly; many have lost the joy of going to church or attending fellowship or bible studies and many have lost the joy of preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. But in His love and mercy is bringing a restoration, He is restoring the joy you have lost and He is keeping and establishing you in that restored joy. God wants you to happy, full of joy, and full of life in whatever you are doing and in your relationships. The restoration of your life, of your soul, and of your joy is one of the reasons He came into the world. Could imagine what Adam and Eve went through after they were driven out of the Garden of Eden and completely prevented from ever entering there again even when they made an attempt to get back? God placed an angel to completely prevent their re-entry into that Garden. Could you imagine what Esau went through mentally, physically and spiritually after losing his birthright for just a portion of food? God is assuring us that whatever had been the reason for losing our just, through Christ Jesus, through His word and love and power of our repentance and trust, He will give us a restoration.

David knew when he lost the joy of his salvation and cried to God for restoration and God did as he requested Psalm 51:12. There is joy in salvation though many have not witnessed it; there is a great joy in knowing Jesus Christ and following Him. Do you know there is joy in the salvation of your soul? God is going to restore the joy of your salvation, the joy of accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior, of following His words and having fellowship with Him every day. There are joys that are beyond our understanding and we can feel it, see it and experience it everyday and everywhere. There is joy in knowing that God is with you that was the joy that Moses had when he was leading Israel when he was by the Red sea when Pharaoh was pursuing them, when they were hungry and thirsty in the wilderness, and when they were being bitten by snakes. There is the joy of knowing that God is in you and God is for you.

The restoration of your joy is paramount, necessary, and God will not allow you to remain again without joy. “What then shall we say to all these things? If God is for us, who can be successful against us? He who did not spare even His own Son, but gave Him up for us all, how will He not also, along with Him, graciously give us all things? Who will bring any charge against God’s elect, His chosen ones? It is God who justifies us declaring us blameless and putting us in a right relationship with Himself. Who is the one who condemns us? Christ Jesus is the One who died to pay our penalty, and more than that, who was raised from the dead, and who is at the right hand of God interceding with the Father for us. Who shall ever separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? Just as it is written and forever remains written, for your sake we are put to death all day long, we are regarded as sheep for the slaughter. Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors and gain an overwhelming victory through Him who loved us so much that He died for us. For I am convinced and continue to be convinced beyond any doubt that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present and threatening, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the unlimited love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord” Romans 831-39.
