DEAR LORD, PEOPLE ARE MOCKING AND LAUGHING ME

Post date: Jul 11, 2013 4:07:53 AM

There is nothing that any man can do to stop the love of God from flourishing in your life. There is nothing they can do to stop God from performing all of His promises to you. There is nothing people can do to hinder you from hearing God, and there is nothing any one can do to stop a man with a vision, a dream, a desire, a heart fixed on obeying God and determination from being a success. Opposition in the eyes of those mocking and laughing is a means through which they desire to stop you, but in the eyes of your God, it is a means He wants to prove you are special to Him, show Himself strong on your behalf and to promote you before men.

Despite the mocking and the laughter you will ever receive from any one directly or indirectly, God will never stop doing what He had promised to do in your life if you will continue in doing what He had asked you to do. Despite the mockery and the laughter that you will receive in obeying God’s words and following His commands, God will always be proud and happy with His children and will always reward those who will never give up because of that.

Despite the mockery and the laughter, do not stop making effort at excellence in honoring your God. Despite the mockery and the laughter, do not stop believing your God, it is your continuous believe that turns the tide of life to your favor. Despite the mockery and the laughter, do not stop bearing good fruits, it is your fruits that will put the devil to shame and make him to flee. Despite the mockery and the laughter, do not stop trusting God, it is in your absolute trust that your faith works wonders with time. Despite the mockery and the laughter, do not stop following God, it is in following God that you will discover the right ways to achieve the promised blessings and fulfill your dreams. Despite the mockery and the laughter, do not stop submitting yourself to God, it is in submitting yourself to God that He will lift you up before men. Despite the mockery and the laughter, do not stop acting on His words, it is in acting on His words that you pave the way for your expected miracle, which was what Simon Peter did to turn a very disappointing night of struggles to a blessed morning of instant greatness, satisfaction and fame.

Mockery and laughter against those who truly believed in God are not new, they are seen often, but God is not looking at what those mocking and laughing you will do before blessing you exceedingly, He is not looking at their ways but on your ways, He is directly looking at you, watching what you will do with the mockery and laughter that is going on. Remember, Jesus Christ was mocked and laughed at, but He never gave up the cross and the grave, that did not make Him to stop pursuing His purpose and ending well, He endured the shame and received the crown of joy and life thereafter. Despite the mockeries and laughter over what you are passing through now, God will not forsake you, neither will He leave you alone in it.

People did mock and laugh at Nehemiah when He was rebuilding the wall of Jerusalem, what they did not know was that Nehemiah had obtained favor from God before. What people do not know of you is that, despite your small speed, your weakness, and your poor performance today, the favor of God is still working for you, because He gave you the permit to begin. “Then I said to them, you see the bad situation we are in, how Jerusalem lies in ruins, and its gates are burned with fire. Come, let us build up the wall of Jerusalem, that we may no longer be a disgrace. Then I told them of the hand of my God which was upon me for good, and also the words that the king had spoken to me. And they said, Let us rise up and build. So they strengthened their hands for the good work. But when Sanballat the Horonite and Tobiah the servant, the Ammonite, and Geshem the Arab heard of it, they laughed us to scorn and despised us and said, what is this thing you are doing? Will you rebel against the king? I answered them, The God of heaven will prosper us; therefore we His servants will arise and build, but you have no portion or right or memorial in Jerusalem.” Nehemiah 2:17-20. For prayer Click here
