THIS MONTH, GOD WILL REMEMBER YOU (2)

Post date: Dec 3, 2019 4:47:43 AM

As you have entered the month of remembrance, God will remember you, He will remember His words concerning you before you were born and after you were born; He will remember all of His promises to you through Christ Jesus; He will remember His covenant concerning your life and your family, He will remember your health because of the blood of Jesus Christ and His covenant with His word to heal you; He will remember the promises that are yet to be fulfilled in your life; He will remember your labor of love towards His house and His children; He will remember your labor of faithfulness to His word and to His house. He will remember your obedience and your patience, He will remember you when you go out and when you come in, He will remember you in your relationship and in your house, He will remember your spouse, your children, and your family. He will remember your job and work, He will remember your finances and your debts, He will remember those who hates you and those who love you, He will remember those who mistreat you and those who misguide you; He will remember those who have abused you and those who have humiliated you. God will also remember those who have prayed for you and those who refused to pray for you; He will remember those who have helped you and those who refused to help you. He will remember those who have blessed you and those who had refused to bless you and He will remember everything that concerns you.

The day God remembered the children of Israel in Egypt, He also remembered all those who oppressed them, He remembered those who maltreated them physically; He remembered those who join hands and ideas to humiliated them, remembered those who help keep them in captivity. He also remembered Pharaoh, all his magicians, and all his counselors, He remembered Pharaoh and his household and his resources, He remembered the resources of the Egyptians and their gods. As God remembered the children of Israel, He also remembered the land He promised them through Abraham. This is what God told Moses when He remembered Israel:

“Then the Lord told Moses, now you will see what I will do to Pharaoh. When he feels the force of my strong hand, he will let the people go. In fact, he will force them to leave his land. And God said to Moses, I am Yahweh, the Lord. I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob as El-Shaddai, God Almighty, but I did not reveal my name, Yahweh to them. And I reaffirmed my covenant with them. Under its terms, I promised to give them the land of Canaan where they were living as foreigners. You can be sure that I have heard the groans of the people of Israel, who are now slaves to the Egyptians. And I am well aware of my covenant with them. Therefore say to the people of Israel, I am the Lord. I will free you from your oppression and will rescue you from your slavery in Egypt. I will redeem you with a powerful arm and great acts of judgment. I will claim you as my own people, and I will be your God. Then you will know that I am the Lord your God who has freed you from your oppression in Egypt. I will bring you into the land I swore to give to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. I will give it to you as your very own possession. I am the Lord. So Moses told the people of Israel what the Lord had said, but they refused to listen anymore. They had become too discouraged by the brutality of their slavery.” Exodus 6:1-9. God told Moses, the children of Israel had become discouraged.

Whatever had caused you being discouraged in life will be taken away. Whatever had been the reason for your frustration will be taken away. Whatever chain used to hold you in captivity will be broken. Whatever power it may be, whatever institution it may be, whatever group it may be, and whatever location they may be, God will take them away as He remembers you. God’s remembrance of the children Israel restored their hope and confidence in God and in themselves; it restored their strength and willingness to obey God’s commands and restored their love for the word and things of God.
