WAKE UP, IT IS YOUR DAY

Post date: Nov 11, 2013 5:00:01 AM

Wake up and be cheerful, hopeful and prepare for the very best from God. Never look down on yourself because of what happened to you yesterday. Today is a new day with new opportunities and new blessings, God had taken yesterday with all its problems away because of this new and blessed day. Every new day is a day to fulfill God’s promises in your life; a day to fulfill God’s given dreams, a day to experience God’s enabled visions, and a day to see your desires taking shape according to God’s plans and purposes. Do not allow yesterday to take you backward; do not condemn yourself because of yesterday, do not look down on yourself, there is hope.

God woke you up this morning to fulfill a unique purpose on earth, you did not wake up just because others are waking up, you did not wake up to pursue the air and waste your day in pains and in gossip; you did not wake up to be busy in another man’s evil affairs; you did not wake up to achieve nothing, and it is definitely true that you are not living for nothing. There is a purpose specifically designed by God that you should live today to fulfill. Each new day is a divine gift from God that you will shine forth the glory of His name in the land of the living.

There is no life without a purpose and there is no purpose which is insignificant before God. Whatever the Lord had destined for you to fulfill today might be small in your eyes, but they are definitely very valuable in the sight of our God. God will never do small things, and He will not engage you to do small things irrespective of what people may say about you and the things you are doing. All of His creations are great and very beautiful to behold.

David said this about God concerning himself and all of His creations in Psalm 139:13-18 “For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well. My frame was not hidden from You, when I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written. The days fashioned for me, when as yet there were none of them. How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God. How great is the sum of them. If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand; When I awake, I am still with You.”

It is good to know that you were made for something good, and you are laboring for something good every day, laboring to achieve a goal, to fulfill a desire, to see the Lords dream and a vision fulfilled, and by God’s grace, you will not end this day in vain, you will be adequately rewarded in this very life from today. The God you serve knows how to reward His children with good things. Your day and your days will not be in vain and you will not waste them again.

When Jezebel and Ahab took a vow against Elijah, to waste his life, God stepped in and woke him up, and prepared him for the good things to come. God will not allow your life to be wasted, your labor to be unfruitful, your dream to remain only a dream and your vision to be exchanged for something else. God is with you today than yesterday, He is nearer than you can imagine and He is willing to do mighty things with you. You may be hunted for evil, but God will turn it off for you: you may be hunted for dismissal or trouble, but God will give you a foundation to stand on and peace to rely on; God will sustain you and will make you His own as He did with Elijah.

“Besides this you know what a critical hour this is, how it is high time now for you to wake up out of your sleep. For salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed, trusted in, and relied on Christ. The night is far gone and the day is almost here. Let us then drop the works and deeds of darkness and put on the full armor of light. Let us live and conduct ourselves honorably and becomingly as in the open light of day, not in reveling and drunkenness, not in immorality, not in quarreling and jealousy. But clothe yourself with the Lord Jesus Christ” Romans 13:9-10. For prayers Click here
