WHEN GIVEN OPPORTUNITY TO ASK FOR ANYTHING

When God gives you the opportunity to ask anything, He is ready to give you whatever you ask and answer your prayers, and He is willing to help you in anything, and anywhere. He is able to do abundantly and exceeding much more than we can ask, what we can think, and what we can ever imagine irrespective of the depth of your thoughts and imaginations. There is absolutely nothing in all aspects of life that is too hard or too difficult or too big for God to do for you when you have the right mind before Him, the right mind before men, and the right mind concerning the issues in your life. At that point of Solomon’s opportunity to ask, when asked for wisdom, his mind, his desires, and his promised actions were right before God and Solomon was determined and willing to do what he asked from God and what God will ask him to do. “What is causing the quarrels and fights among you? Isn’t it because there is a whole army of evil desires within you? You want what you don’t have, so you kill to get it. You long for what others have, and can’t afford it, so you start a fight to take it away from them. And yet the reason you don’t have what you want is that you don’t ask God for it. And even when you do ask you don’t get it because your whole aim is wrong—you want only what will give you pleasure.” James 4:1-3

Solomon desired to secure his kingship in Israel even in the presence of his enemies and those who opposed and challenged him but he did not desire to get it done by killing them. A wrong heart before God in every endeavor irrespective of its advantage to you will always be a huge hindrance to you; a wrong desire will always be a hindrance; a wrong intent will pose as a big hindrance; a wrong motive will be a hindrance, and sin will be a drawback for you. We Matthew 7: 6 “Don’t give holy things to depraved men. Don’t give pearls to swine. They will trample the pearls and turn and attack you.” God wants you to be Holy before Him. Don’t go to Him with anger in your heart against anybody; He will not give what is holy to people with depraved minds, thoughts, and imaginations. He will not give you an answer when the motive is wrong and the action that will follow the answered prayer is wrong.

Before you go to God, when you stand before Him for any reason, it is good that you purge your heart and mind and thoughts of everything that will hinder you; it is good you know that He sees all things, knows all things, and that there is absolutely nothing hidden before Him and be ready to turn from evil willingly. So when you are given opportunity as Solomon was given, it is good you do these to yourself; “So get rid of your feelings of hatred. Don’t just pretend to be good. Be done with dishonesty and jealousy and talking about others behind their backs. Now that you realize how kind the Lord has been to you, put away all evil, deception, envy, and fraud. Long to grow up into the fullness of your salvation, cry for this as a baby cries for his milk. Come to Christ, who is the living Foundation of Rock upon which God builds, though men have spurned Him, He is very precious to God who has chosen Him above all others.” 1 Peter 2:1-4

When you are ready to do these, then this is the promise; “Come now, and let us reason together says the Lord, though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land; but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured by the sword, for the mouth of the Lord has spoken” Isaiah 1:19-20. God does not want you to be devoured by your enemies or by the issues affecting you right now. H wants you to have victory, He wants you to be blessed, He wants you to stand up and stand tall lifting up His name and word in high praise. He wants to give you the wisdom that will help you overcome all challenges, all afflictions, all humiliations, all shame, all loneliness, and all disappointments. God wanted Solomon to succeed, He wanted the children of Israel to be proud of their king and of Him; He wanted stability in Israel and nothing else, and He saw Solomon was willing when He asked for wisdom.” For prayers, Click here
