HOW MOSES BECAME SO GREAT

With God, it will be completely impossible for you to fail irrespective of the number, the strength, the names and the locations of everything and everyone standing by to oppose, to question your rights, to yell at you, to kick you off and to challenge every step that you will take in the right direction in obedience to the words and commands of God; it will be impossible for those working behind closed doors or under the cover of darkness to stop you from reaching all the goals that God had set for you in life and the destiny He had planned and purposed for your life. One thing I know is that our loving God will never turn His back on His words and will never take His eyes off the life of those holding on to and following the directions of His words. I want you to know that there is absolutely nothing in your life, that of your family, spouse, children, finance, job and relationship that God cannot and will not give you the grace to overcome.

There was nothing in the life of Moses that he did not overcome when he dedicated the rest of his life after eighty years of endless struggles to faithfully serve the Lord and diligently follow His words with all of his heart and might. Moses was born at the wrong time, in a wrong place but to the right parents and he never missed the will of God for his life for one moment despite all the array of challenges against him and his parents. You may find yourself or your children, spouse or family member in a wrong place at the wrong time, but that wrong place will not be able to stop God working for you if you will have the right mind according to the words of God and follow every of His instructions as the parents of Moses did. Moses was raised up in a pagan home, ate every food that was presented to him, drank their wine and wore their cloths until he was forty years old, but all that never stopped him from fulling the plans, the will, and the purpose of God for his life when he finally heard the voice of God and followed every spoken word.

At the time of his birth in Egypt, his parents had no power to stop Pharaoh or stop his decree, but they had the faith to trust their God and that worked well for them and Moses was delivered from the power and wickedness and intent of that evil decree. When he was forty, he had no power to resist Pharaoh’s words and actions, but he had the power to rescue an oppressed Israelite from the hands of one Egyptian. Though he became afraid for his life because of what Pharaoh will do to him because the Egyptian died in the process, his divine destiny was not taken from him for that mistake because God was preparing him for an encounter with Him later in life. You may have made mistakes before or you may be living in your past mistakes now, with cries of regrets, but that mistake will not make God to turn His face away from you and ignore your call for help and the fulfillment of His divine destiny for your life. Mistakes did not stop Moses in any way and will not stop you.

When Moses left the house of Pharaoh, he spent the next forty years in the forest working for another pagan, giving his time and energy caring for his masters business with all faithfully, but his heart was busy searching for a way of escape, for a way to hear God and for a way to serve the Almighty God, and on that faithful day, Moses found the answer he was looking for in life; the answer that turned his life from that of a struggling man without direction and purpose to that of having victory and being great the rest of his life; he saw the purpose, the plans, the will and the direction for his life through the words he heard and on following those words, he became great and his deeds are all recorded in the scriptures forever for us to read and to follow in his steps.

Moses did not find his direction and purpose in life: did not overcome his challenges and became great because he was strong, active, and lived in Pharaoh’s house or because his parents were faithful believers; he did because he heard the voice of the living God, believed the words and diligently gave himself to following those words despite his weaknesses, his past and current fears and his past mistakes in life. The word of God is the power that changes everyone and everything. Seek His word for your life. David said: “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” Psalm 119:105.
