GOD TOLD ABRAHAM, RELOCATE

“Now in Haran the Lord had said to Abram, Go away from your country, and from your relatives and from your father’s house, to the land which I will show you.” Genesis 12:1. What was the reason for Abraham’s relocation? What is the reason for your desire to relocate? We all have different reasons but when God desires it, He will do it with love, not hatred, nothing will hinder it, and He will make it plain to you, and will open the doors making things to be in place for your movement and safety and He will keep His vow. God does not desire any of His children to be a victim of an evil practice or be destroyed by any form of evil or an evil group or a victim of any form of sacrifice for anything that will not glorify Him. He holds you in high esteem irrespective of your location or position because of the name of Jesus Christ that you have believed and trusted and He will do everything to preserve and keep you with His power and with His love until you become what He had said and who He had destined. Believing and trusting Jesus Christ is the beginning of the fulfillment of everything that God had promised you in His words and plans.

God clearly told Abraham to relocate not because He was unable to bless him where he was; or because the people were too wicked that God cannot do what He wanted to do with Abraham where he was; not that the place was so polluted that God was unable to cleanse by His power, not because the blessings would be stolen or taken away from Abraham. It was God’s decision that Abraham should relocation, it was God’s own plan for Himself to be honored and glorified and it was God’s own desire to do it that way and Abraham had no objection than to obey and to follow. The relocation was a plan bigger than what Abraham could think by himself, what he could ever dream or what he could ever imagine in his best wisdom and knowledge. “Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh; is there anything too difficult for Me?” Jeremiah 32:27. The plans of God for us are too big that we will never be able to carry them out on our own despite our education, wealth, wisdom. Knowledge, and resources; it too big that we will never be able to accomplish with our strength despite irrespective of the number of people with us; it is too big for us to see the full picture irrespective of the power of our foresight and prophesies, and it is too big to imagine with our infinite mind. The only thing we could do to accomplish His plans is only to believe it when He reveals them, trust Him to accomplish all that He had said even when we have no resources and weak, obey every instruction He gives, and follow every step as He directs just as Abraham and Noah did to accomplish God’s plans for their lives. These two men distinguished themselves from the rest by the God they believed, trusted, obeyed and also followed despite their weaknesses and what others were doing.

When it is God’s desire, He will plan it; when it is God’s decisions, He will carry it out; when it is God’s ways, He will glorify Himself in it and through it and nothing will stop it, nothing will stand up to prevent it, and nothing will ever change it. When it is God’s plans irrespective of the prevailing circumstances, amazing things beyond the understanding and reasoning of men will start to happen besides the daily troubles and challenges you have every day. Did you know that the gates of hell, the powers of hell, the imaginations of hell and Satan himself cannot in any way stand against the will of God? Abraham did not relocate because he was angry with himself, with the people, with his job, or with his family members where he was; he did not relocate because he found a new place without the usual challenges of life; he did not relocate because people were seeking to kill him or his family, he did not relocate things were not going as planned. Abraham relocated because God said relocate. No wonder God protected and preserved him. “And I will make you a great nation, and I will bless you, and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing, a source of great good to others; and I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse the one who curses you, and in you all the families of the earth will be blessed.
