NOTHING WILL STOP ME

Did you know that things are very tough and are becoming every day, but despite that, there is absolutely nothing in your life that you cannot, nothing that you will not and nothing that you will not be able to overcome and give God the praise at the end. Despite all the seeming odds of life, all the cries and pains of today, did you know that none of them is taking a permanent post in your life? God originally made you to overcome all situations and to live an overcomer life on earth. You were made in His image and Likeness and that stands till today.

No adversity from the pit of hell or individual on earth can change that. Nothing on earth is more powerful than the word of God concerning you, and nothing can withstand it’s impart in you. Did you know that God’s words concerning you are forever effective despite the situations that are seeking to destroy you? Though the consequence of your situations matters, but in all things, it is the word of God concerning your life and your destiny that matters most and will be seen.

For the word of God to be fulfilled, your decision in that situation matters greatly. David knew that he was privately anointed to be the next king of Israel by Samuel, and he was waiting for the day that those words of God spoken in the privacy of the family house will be made public and confirmed in his life. While waiting in absolute trust, without any knowledge or warning, God brought him to face Goliath in a battle. Rather than being afraid he was bold; instead of being discouraged by his height, he was encouraged; rather than retreat, he moved forward; rather than hiding in fear, he decided to press forward in the name of the Lord, and God gave him the victory that announced his time of reign as the next king.

“And David said to Saul, Let no man's heart fail because of him; thy servant will go and fight with this Philistine. And Saul said to David, Thou art not able to go against this Philistine to fight with him: for thou art but a youth, and he a man of war from his youth. And David said unto Saul, Thy servant kept his father's sheep, and there came a lion, and a bear, and took a lamb out of the flock: And I went out after him, and smote him, and delivered it out of his mouth: and when he arose against me, I caught him by his beard, and smote him, and slew him. Thy servant slew both the lion and the bear: and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them, seeing he hath defied the armies of the living God. David said moreover, The Lord that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said unto David, Go, and the Lord be with thee. Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied. This day will the Lord deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcases of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel. And all this assembly shall know that the Lord saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the Lord's, and he will give you into our hands.” 1 Samuel 17:32-37; 45-47

There was nothing to indicate to David that the battle with Goliath was a battle to confirm his destiny according to the word of God and the anointing of Samuel. He did not know in any way that the battle was needed to expose his inner strength and capability to the children of Israel and to announce openly to the hearing of King Saul and all others in Israel what God had spoken to him through Samuel in the privacy of his family home.

The seize of Goliath did not stop him, the lack of prior training in the camp did not stop him, the fear of what will happen to him did not stop him. Beloved, before that situation came, God had already given you the victory and nothing will stop you if you will decide like David. The result of your persistence will announce your next place in history. For prayers, Click here
