IS THIS GOD’S WILL FOR ME? (II)

God had not hidden His will, His intent, His plans and His purpose from the world. He has not prohibited anyone from knowing, accepting, believing, following, seeking and asking that His will be done in their lives. In teaching His disciples how to pray when they requested, Christ deliberately added “let your will be done on earth as it is in heaven’. Seeking God’s will is never an ordinary, expectation, never the usual imaginary thoughts and never the fainting dreams of the day or of the night. God’s will should be the expectation of all believer in all things; the expectation of those who believe, trust and follow His words; the expectation of those who look forward for His glory and His ability in their lives, and those who rely and depend on Him for strength, blessings, healing, health, restoration, recovery and manifestation of His promises, knowing He will not deny them.

Knowing God will not withhold any good thing from us despite our situations in life and the locations we find ourselves is one of the best ways to live for Him on earth today. Job was a man who beyond all expectations experienced what no one today will ever experience in just one day; what no one will ever wish for self, family or someone else irrespective of the level of enmity and anger. Job suffered that much not because he did committed any sin, condole any wrong doing in his private or public life and in his business, or did he hide any of the wrong doings of his children, family, or business associates; he survived all the pains, all the humiliations and all the shame not because he was physically strong, smart and of very great courage. He was delivered from the shame of being homeless and poor, of being humiliated by the sudden fall from stardom and of having no place to put his head at night or day and being penniless through the will of God for his life.

It was nothing else but a divine miracle according to the will of God and His ever presence with those who trust, rely and follow Him that sustained Job throughout the period, brought him out of what was completely impossible with man and placed Him on a blessings that could never have been imagined by him and by all those who saw him suffer. Though Job suffered all things on one could imagine, experienced the most horrible moment in his lifetime, yet it was the will of God that he should not die but lived to see the goodness of trusting God, of following Him and of relying on His word, strength and grace. Job found the will of God in his troubles. Irrespective of the level of darkness and the uncertainties in life, there is a strong hope in God’s will and ability to bring a change that will restore and sustain His joy in our hearts always. God is waiting for you to be in trouble like Job before revealing His will; all you need is diligence to see, to know, the heart to accept and the determination to follow them

“How lovely are Your tabernacles, O Lord of hosts. My soul yearns, yes, even pines and is homesick for the courts of the Lord; my heart and my flesh cry out and sing for joy to the living God. Yes, the sparrow has found a house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even Your altars, O Lord of hosts, my King and my God. Blessed, happy, fortunate, to be envied are those who dwell in Your house and Your presence; they will be singing Your praises all the day long. Blessed is the man whose strength is in You, in whose heart are the highways to Zion. Passing through the Valley of Weeping, they make it a place of springs; the early rain also fills the pools with blessings. They go from strength to strength increasing in victorious power; each of them appears before God in Zion. O Lord God of hosts, hear my prayer; give ear, O God of Jacob. Behold our shield, O God, and look upon the face of Your anointed. For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand anywhere else; I would rather be a doorkeeper and stand at the threshold in the house of my God than to dwell at ease in the tents of wickedness. For the Lord God is a Sun and Shield; the Lord bestows grace and favor and glory, honor, splendor, and heavenly bliss. No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly. O Lord of hosts, blessed is the man who trusts in You, leaning and believing on You, committing all and confidently looking to You, and that without fear or misgiving.” Psalm 84:1-12.
