“I hereby put you in charge of the entire land of Egypt. Then Pharaoh removed his signet ring from his hand and placed it on Joseph’s finger. He dressed him in fine linen clothing and hung a gold chain around his neck. Then he had Joseph ride in the chariot reserved for his second-in-command. And wherever Joseph went, the command was shouted, kneel down. So Pharaoh put Joseph in charge of all Egypt. And Pharaoh said to him, I am Pharaoh, but no one will lift a hand or foot in the entire land of Egypt without your approval.” Genesis 41:41-44

The life story of Joseph will never be exhausted, the lessons therein are interesting and numerous and the courage we derive from it are powerful. God in His ever amazing love has a big plan He wants every of His children to execute, plans that are beyond their strength and the very best their knowledge; plans that are far better and far bigger than the best plans they will ever have for themselves and that their parents are preparing them for; He has a desire that they will discover this plan, they will follow this plan, they will submit themselves to follow His leading that will enable them to fulfill this big plans; He has a purpose for the plan, a purpose for desiring that they follow the plan, and a purpose He intends such is that they will have a happy fulfilled life, glorify and exult His name before men on earth.

To most of us, the plans of God for our lives begin with a cloudy or clear small dream that excites us and linger long in our mind and thoughts. To most of us these dreams are simple but we do not know how to begin, how it will be fulfilled, where it will take us in life, how and when it will come to an end. To most of us, we experience serious problems immediately after such dreams, problems that had never been before in our lives, in the lives of any member of our family, problems we have never seen with our eyes or heard with our ears; problems that are very strange and beats our wildest imagination. But despite all the problems, do not drop the dream, and do not run away from it. The problem is not meant to destroy you but to separate and prepare you to fulfill the purpose in the dream. The God who gave you the dream will take care of the problems.

God gave Joseph two dreams concerning his future; when he joyfully narrated them to his family members, some vowed never to see those dreams fulfilled in his life in their lifetime: never to see Joseph became what the interpretation of the dreams revealed to them, not knowing that before those dreams, God had prepare a location for them to be manifested. His brothers successfully plotted evil, successfully carried them out, but God was at every point of their execution preserving his life because of His purpose in the dream.

They wanted to kill him so the dream will die but God prevented them. They sold him to slavery with the assumption that the dream will die; he became a house help and later a prisoner, he was moved from one prison to another, but despite all his pains and the wicked actions of his brothers and his slave master, they were unable to kill the dream in God’s mind and His plans for Joseph. Every dream from God never dies, never diminishes in power, and in value. God will ever stand by His dreams and desires for you, He will forever remember what He said and what He showed, and He will forever remember you despite your location, despite what had been happening since the day you had those dreams. You may have forgotten the correct details and requirements in the dream, but God will never forget them. If you have misplaced your priority in life because of the problems in fulfilling those dreams, God will restore them, He will restore you, and He will fulfill them as He had aid and showed, despite what people are saying as you wait and pray. Despite what had been done against your dreams and your Godly desires, despite their vows never to see you manifest God’s perfect will, they will never succeed to erase God’s plans and purpose for your life, and they will never kill the dream. God will restore you, He will restore the dreams, and He will help you fulfill them. For prayers, Click here
