“GOD WILL BE THERE WHEN YOU GET TO THE RED SEA”

“But now, this is what the Lord, your Creator says, O Jacob, and He who formed you, O Israel, do not fear, for I have redeemed you from captivity; I have called you by name; you are Mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. When you walk through fire, you will not be scorched, nor will the flame burn you. I am the Lord, your Holy One, the Creator of Israel, your King. This is what the Lord says, He who makes a way through the sea and a path through the mighty waters, He who brings out the chariot and the horse, the army and the mighty warrior, they will lie down together, they will not rise again; they have been extinguished, they have been put out like a lamp’s wick: do not remember the former things, or ponder the things of the past. Listen carefully, I am about to do a new thing, now it will spring forth; will you not be aware of it? I will even put a road in the wilderness, rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43:1-2, 15-19

Obedience is one of the hardest things to do by some people and is also one of the simplest things to do by some; in every obedience to divine ways and principles, there will be serious challenges to stop you, to frustrate you, to hinder you and to punish you, but at every point on the road of your obedience to divine principles and ways of doing things and living, God will be to open up new doors, do a new miracle, answer your prayers, replace your sorrow with joy and your pains with a testimony. When you get to the red sea in your life as a believer, God will make a way for you to cross on dry land while the enemies pursuing you will be drawn as it was in the time of Moses and the armies of choice men and chariots of Pharaoh. When you get to the rough paths of life as a believing and when living for Christ and according to His words for you, God will make a way to sustain you such that you will not be affected negatively by the roughness caused by the wicked, the economy or the place of work or your neighborhood.

When you get to the point of unnecessary delays and frustrations from the wicked, God will open up miraculous ways that will encourage you to wait patiently wait on Him until you receive from Him the fullness of His blessings to overcome whatever is disturbing your souls, thoughts, and body. There is no issue He will not help you to overcome. When you get to the place where you are compelled to be angry by what you see, hear, and experience, God will give you the peace and the wisdom you need to overcome any temptation waiting to take hold of you because of the anger in your heart and thoughts. Anger is a weapon in the hands of the devil to force you to do wrong before God and go against His plans for your life. He used it in the wilderness to prevent Moses from entering the Promised Land as God did promise him.

When you get to the place of unfriendly people, unfriendly location and compelling positions on the things God requires you to do in life for your destiny to be manifested, God will give you the favor He gave to Isaac in Gerar when famine and draughts and the people stood against him and fought everything he had and everything he did. The favor Isaac received proved to the people that the Almighty can still do amazing miracles despite the situation in the land and whatever is standing against them. All that Isaac did was to obey God and follow His instructions. “Then Isaac planted seed in that land as a farmer and reaped in the same year a hundred times as much as he had planted and the Lord blessed and favored him. And the man Isaac became great and gained more and more until he became very wealthy and extremely distinguished; he owned flocks and herds and a great household with a number of servants, and the Philistines envied him.” Genesis 26:12-14. Isaac knew the land and the place was bad for farming, he saw the lack of water, he knew it was impossible to any seed to grow in such a land; he saw that everyone had the same experience and the same poor harvest, but Isaac decided to ignore what he knew about the land and follow God’s instructions and God blessed him.
